• Who Leads the Democratic Party Now?

Now that the election is over. Kerry will fade back in to irrelevancy, Edwards will go back to chasing ambulances, Daschle will relocate to an Indian reservation, and one has to assume that Terry's days of running the DNC are coming to and end. Who will assume control over their party to stand in opposition to Bush? Obviously the media thinks that Obama can be their savior in 2008. I don't see how Hillary/Obama could carry a single RED state in 2008 so I think this is a Dean pipe-dream. Whoever it will be we need to find out soon...

  • "The Truth About Democrats" Campaign Ad #1: Winning With Anger

Jonathan posted a link to the files earlier to his streamload account. I was out with the kids today. The ad is now online at http://naspino.com/media with the rest of the collection. From John Kerry and the International Socialist Party: An adept student of propaganda once wrote, "The art of propaganda lies in understanding the emotional ideas of the great masses and finding through a psychologically correct form, the way to the attention and [then] to the heart of the broad masses." In other words, the art of propaganda is to transform politics from a reasoned debate of issues among...

I am only going to post an excerpt of the article because it is quite lengthy and includes a couple of images. I know excerpting is evil, but please do not post the entire article as a comment. In the last presidential election, socialist candidates received one-one-hundredth of one percent of the total vote. It follows, then, that one can conclude socialism to be a vastly unpopular movement with in the United States of America. With that said, if John Kerry announced tomorrow that he intended to switch to the Socialist Party how would his platform change?Perhaps party labels are meaningless,...
  • "THE TRUTH ABOUT JOHN KERRY" CAMPAIGN AD #6: THE DODGER

I just received the next ad in the "Truth About John Kerry" series. This is number six in the series and available for download here. After over fourteen months of an eleven-pronged attack on George W. Bush, John Kerry is now trying to prevent the President from talking of exposing his international socialist voting record by complaining, whining, and crying. The man that calls the President a lying crook does not want to be called a liberal. This ad reminds John Kerry that Americans want answers not hypocrisy.

Jon Voight will be on O'Reilly (soon) -- airing at moment. He will be commenting on the anti-semitism in the Passion of the Christ.

WHAT BETTER MAN? He is, afterall, a biblical scholar, or did you not know? He was Noah in Noah's Ark (CBS, Hallmark, 1999). If you are unfamiliar -- be thankful. Read the review of it HERE.

The official page for the ad campaign has been finished. The response has been great already and I would like to thank all of the freepers that have spread the word. Looking at the logs we are getting people all over the internet to come in and watch the videos. We are still looking for voice over help if anyone is interested. The "liberal" ad has been viewed over 2,000 times and we have served over two and half gigabytes of bandwidth for it since Sunday afternoon -- but we still need to get the word out about the other...

We have moved the Anti-John Kerry Ads. Anyone that directly linked to them yesterday will need to update their links. This is a permanent location. Please visit http://naspino.com/media to access the videos. 1. We need video editing assistance, people to go through the videos and provide criticism so that they can be fine-tuned to impact swing voters. 2. We need voice over help, especially on the featured video regarding Kerry being the most liberal senator. If you have a good voice (especially an "ominous" one) then Freep-Mail jmstein7 or myself. 3. We need background music help. I'm thinking of ad...
  • "Fuhrer" Over All Things Conservative

When will conservatives stop causing "furors" to erupt? First, it was Mel Gibson tossing about his anti-semitic hate-filled speech in the "Passion of the Christ". Now, George Bush, is sending hundreds of million of Americans reeling with insensitive images of the World Trade Center "accident". Well, I suppose those sentences would make sense to me if I were a liberal; instead, they draw for me a conclusion about how the press perceives all things conservative, that they must cause a "furor". Have you noticed, in the past two months, how many times the press has used the word "furor" to...
  • Press Depressed Over Atkins Success

If the press had its way, the national dialogue would be over a constitutional ban on the controversial Atkins Diet, rather than on the sanctity of marriage. You know the culture war has reached a fevered pitch when you can decipher someone's politics by the diet they choose. It now seems there are few certainties in life, except death, taxes, and that vegans will cast their vote for Ralph Nader. Therefore, the politicizing of the Atkins Diet has come as no surprise. The diet has no shortage of enemies either. Its "reported" emphasis on meat drives vegetarians insane. "Big Sugar",...

Has your FreeRepublic post been dissiminated in a newsgroup for "educational" discussion? I just did a search for my FR login name on groups.google.com. • In a lackluster year, TV was king of pain

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - As it draws to a close, this much can be said about 2003: The seasons changed on schedule and the Earth never once stopped spinning on its axis. As years go, this wasn't exactly the best one on record. In many ways, it was the quirky one you wish you could have back -- like the year you decided to grow sideburns or a mustache or buy a polyester suit. It wasn't a year so much as a 365-day faux pas. That's not to say there weren't some good things on television in '03. It...
  • FOXNEWS (Push for Documentary/Investigative)?

We've been discussing FOXNEWS and Roger Ailes success in the last day. I know a lot of people here have expressed that they are getting bored and tuning away from FOXNEWS in primetime because O'Reilly gets more and more difficult to watch, Colmes is too annoying, and Gretta just covers whatever is the fad for the day: Sharks, Kobe, whatever. What I think FOXNEWS needs is a documentary or investigative program like Frontline, 20/20, or Nightline. I know they tried this on FOX with Sheppard but they took the entirely wrong approach by focusing on Jerry Springer type topics. The...
  • Kindapping of Logan Marr (Frontline-PBS)

Did anyone else just see Frontline on PBS. The Taking of Logan Marr? I haven't screamed at the television in a long time but that did it. To make a long story short. Maine stole Logan from her mother because a neighbor saw her drop off Logan at her mothers house who they deemed a bad influence. After many months she got Logan back if she agreed to sever ties with her mother. Then she found her father in Florida. Maine again found out and sent a case worker to steal Logan and her new sister. These people are demonic...

Watching the live video. They just voted on an anti-war ammendment but it was beaten 396-217; most of the no's of course coming from Blair's party. I have incredible respect for Blair. It would be like Clinton standing with the Republicans; unheard of -- but he's doing it.
  • Tom Delay National Leadership Award Scam

I received a call today from someone claiming to be from Tom Delay's office offering my wife a "National Leadership Award". It didn't sound like a Republican on the other end and so I treated it as a solicitor call and cut her off; however she asked me to give my wife a 1-800 number to call to receive her award. Since my wife does not work and hasn't really contributed anything to the Republican party I has to assume they threw a dart to select her name. I then started looking around the internet for this and found that...

RBC, 25.10.2002, Moscow 20:44:49.The militants may start killing hostages as soon as 10 p.m. today, Sergey Govorukhin, who is a son of well-known film director Stanislav Govorukhin, declared after returning from the music theater, where about 700 hostages are held, the NTV television reported. Together with Dmitry Belovetsky, chief editor of the Literaturnaya Gazeta newspaper, he delivered water and hygiene products to the theater. Govorukhin underlined that during the talks with the terrorists, the militants pointed out that they did not want to hold further negotiations and could fire on any negotiator approaching the building. The talks will not be...

Instead of having multiple threads about the Russian Theater Hostage Crisis lets try to focus the commentary into one place. It is hard enough to find anything about this potentially explosive and history altering event. Please send an e-mail to FOX, CNN, MSNBC, and all other news outlets and tell them you do care about this situation, would like to see news on it and that we are not as vain and shallow as they obviously think we are. From StratFor: "The ongoing hostage situation in Moscow has put Russian President Vladimir Putin in a lose-lose situation. Chechen militants are...
