I've had the same physician designated as my PCP for the past 2-3 years, including the current year, my first on Medicare.  I've never seen him once.  Whenever I'd needed medical care, I made an appointment with the Physician's Assistant.  He'll perform a physical, write a scrip, etc.  They're also part of a large group that has a walk-in urgent care facility that's even closer.

This particular PCP's office is not participating in my plan for '26, so I just designated a different doctor, who I'll most likely never see.  My plan doesn't require referrals, so I usually just go directly to the specialist.  A couple of weeks to get in, at most, here in suburban North Jersey.

Affluent White Female Liberal.  I've sometimes seen the letter "U" added - for Ugly - to spell AWFUL.

The family of my best friend growing up here in Suburban North Jersey had a 2nd home a little south of the Toms River area.  My friend would refer to them as "Pinies".

The last time I had the flu was early 2005, so I got the flu vaccine ahead of the next season.  That was my first vaccination since childhood.  Because it's a crap shoot and they're really just guessing what the flu strains will be, I haven't been vaccinated since .. and that includes COVID.

The only vaccination I'm even considering now as I'm getting up there in years is for shingles.  But even though it's free at my local CVS - as are shots for flu and COVID - I have yet to get one.

I guess they thought they were sending a message by selecting "ice" scrapers to protest ICE.  Typical stupid, immature leftists (but I repeat myself).

Next up: ice picks, ice melt, etc.

RIP Rick.  I think Rick was dealing with some health issues for a while. I generally preferred Roger's songs - more proggy and less bluesy - and his high-pitched vocals, but Crime of the Century was awesome, especially live! 4th row at MSG during the Breakfast tour.  Became a big Supertramp fan back in HS with Even in the Quietest Moments when all of my other friends were into Springsteen and Boston.

Really wish Roger and Rick didn't have that falling out.

Unfortunately, these are perfect examples of why bringing charges against the Dem scum who conspired against President Trump - Obama, Hillary, Brennan, Comey, Clapper, et al, - within the venue of D.C. would be exercises in futility.

About 2 years ago, Danish firm Orsted bailed on two New Jersey wind farm projects, writing down close to $4B.

Then, Governor Murphy couldn't even get the full $300 million forfeiture guarantee from Orsted as the 2 parties settled on $125 mil, so NJ lost another potential $175 mil on this boondoggle.

It's ironic that Mamdani and his leftist ilk are constantly referring to President Trump as a dictator.  Yet, the only way Zohran's proposals - tax increases, rent freezes, fare-free public transportation, etc. - would see the light of day would be if Mamdami governed like .. a dictator.

I know this is posted from the BB but I was at my local CVS on Friday to pick up some prescriptions and the woman behind the counter asked me if I was interested in getting a COVID vaccination.  I should've told her I never got one in the first place, but instead I just politely declined with a 'No, thank you'.
