As seen in the Oakland Diocese, which has the last 2 bishops as out of town prolife boys, that’s a slap in the face of the retire flunky bishop Embarassetus. Vatican has his ways of showing displeasure.

If the service was decent, I’ll tip in cash, which is not traceable by Uncle Sam, and put the rest on the credit card, which is traeable. That would sure help the server.
Given the service is equal, in similar situation, I’ll tip the overweigt, older, not so good looking fat chick server more, because she works hard and probably didn’t get much breaks in life. The nice looking chicks could do less with my money. That’s my little way of making things more fair.
Just curious, I have never heard any of these womyn priestess wannabe promoting Confession. You think people in the pew may like the idea of going to confession with them? :-D
Many people have already lost half of their investments so far in this market, in addition to losing a huge amount on their house, stretched to the limit. Pretty soon they will lose the other half if they stayed in the market.
Cash is King. During deflation your dollar is worth that much more buying power.

I read from the LA Times, in the past year, about 700 families could not afford to claim the bodies of their loved ones due to the bad economy. Funeral is not cheap no doubt. Anyway, these poor souls just let the county coroner do the cremation, then claim the ashes back within 2 years, for $250.
