In a few words, US President Donald Trump this week suggested that one of Washington’s closest allies, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was lying. There was “real starvation” under way in Gaza, Trump told reporters in Scotland on Monday, a day after Netanyahu had called such reports “a boldfaced lie”. Trump said he had seen the images of hungry Palestinians on television and on Tuesday declared that a person would have to be “pretty cold hearted” or “nuts” not to find them terrible. It was a rare rebuke from a US president who has placed few limitations on the behaviour...

The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to advance a bill that would empower the federal government to crack down on student protests by defining antisemitism in a way that includes certain criticism of Israel. Sponsored by Rep. Mike Lawler, a Republican from New York, the bill's passage reflects a broader national trend. Earlier this year, Gov. Brian Kemp signed H.B. 30, which revised Georgia’s hate crime statute to include certain forms of speech critical of Israel. In March, Gov. Kristi Noem signed legislation into the South Dakota civil rights statute that codified some forms of speech critical of...

The Daily Wire and controversial right-wing commentator Candace Owens parted ways on Friday, according to CEO Jeremy Boreing. “Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship,” announced Boreing on X. Owens’s departure comes after months of tensions between her and Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro over her promotion of various anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. After the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel and outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip, Owens quickly emerged as a critic of Israel’s military operations, promoting falsehoods about supposed religious segregation in Jerusalem and all but accusing Israel of genocide. In the months since, Owens...

The bill doesn’t list which platforms would be affected, but it targets any social media site that tracks user activity, allows children to upload material and interact with others and uses addictive features designed to cause excessive or compulsive use. The bill would not affect apps used for private messages between individuals. “They’re taking advantage of kids...

Comprehensive panels of "reversion mutations" found in general circulation look like an experiment On August 5th 2023 a Japanese research team published a pre-print that appears to contain the most important and shocking revelations of the covid era. Atsuki Tanaka and Takayuki Miyazawa, of Osaka Medical University and Kyoto University, wanted to trace the historical evolution of the omicron variant of SARS-CoV2 by studying viral sequences found "in the wild" and deposited in public databases. In doing this they found around 100 separate omicron subvariants that could not conceivably have arisen through natural processes. The existence of these variants seems...

Chinese President Xi Jinping reiterated to Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas on Wednesday his call for a state of Palestine to become a "full member" of the United Nations, state media reported. Xi expressed Beijing's position during a summit with Arab countries in Saudi Arabia in December, although the latest call comes as the Asian powerhouse works to strengthen its role as mediator in the Middle East. Xi met Abbas during the December trip and pledged to "work for an early, just and durable solution to the Palestinian issue". Beijing has since positioned itself as a mediator in the Middle East,...

The former civilian head of the NATO alliance has warned that some Eastern European states are prepared to send their soldiers to Ukraine if the bloc does not make significant pledges to Kiev at an upcoming summit. Anders Rasmussen, former NATO secretary-general and a current adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, is touring Europe and Washington to gauge the level of support Kiev should expect at the Vilnius summit in July. “I think the Poles would seriously consider going in and assemble a coalition of the willing if Ukraine doesn’t get anything in Vilnius,” he said. “We shouldn’t underestimate the...

Crucial science topics will no longer be taught to a large swath of Indian students, according to new government guidance. Most young learners in India will no longer be exposed to key science topics in school textbooks — unless they voluntarily major in science in higher classes. On June 1, India cut a slew of foundational topics from tenth grade textbooks, including the periodic table of elements, Darwin's theory of evolution, the Pythagorean theorem, sources of energy, sustainable management of natural resources and contribution of agriculture to the national economy, among others. A small section explaining Michael Faraday’s contributions to...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) signed a bill regarding spaceflight on Thursday just one day after he announced his presidential run in a glitch-filled interview with Elon Musk on Twitter Spaces. DeSantis signed into law CS/SB 1318 – Spaceflight Entity Liability along with 27 other bills. The law exempts “spaceflight entity from liability for injury to or death of a crew resulting from spaceflight activities under certain circumstances.” The measure also requires “a spaceflight entity to have a crew sign a specified warning statement.” Florida is a known launching point for SpaceX aircrafts, and the new law could potentially shield...

JERUSALEM — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation cracking down on hate crimes Thursday morning after a high-profile speech in Israel. Known as the “Public Nuisances” bill, the legislation — passed Wednesday by the Legislature — makes it a felony for hate groups to harass people for their religion or ethnicity. Florida had the fourth-highest number of antisemitic incidents last year, according to the Anti-Defamation League. DeSantis is in Israel as part of his overseas trade mission with stops in Japan and South Korea. He also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday before he wrapped up the...

DeSantis is instituting socialist insurance policy in Florida. When the next hurricane comes those covered by the last resort state insurance fund and other insurers will be required to pony up the money for any losses beyond what the state insurance fund can cover. How can someone who pretends to be conservative come up with something like this? Yeah I know he's good on social issues it's his position on other issues I worry about.

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly being indicted on 34 charges, according to a CNN analyst. The Manhattan grand jury voted Thursday to indict Trump almost two weeks after Trump publicly said he was going to face indictment. The indictment is in connection to a yearslong investigation into hush money allegedly paid to former porn star Stormy Daniels. Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, allegedly sent $130,000 to Daniels so she would not disclose an earlier alleged affair with the president. Cohen claims Trump then reimbursed him. The Manhattan District Attorney’s office investigated whether Trump forged business records to hide the...

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been accused of attempting to create an anti-press freedom culture in his state. Proposed bills would weaken anti-SLAPP laws, make anonymous sources less credible, and require bloggers to register with the state. Critics have told Newsweek that such legislation would "chill, silence and punish those who criticize public officials and their powerful allies." DeSantis, however, says he wants to "stand up for the little guy against these massive media conglomerates." The governor has yet to confirm whether he will sign the bills into law, but if they are passed, it could trigger a Supreme Court...

Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong said at the end of last year the U.S. is being set up for a “nightmare fall.” Train derailments and political problems are spinning out of control, but the biggest threat is war. Armstrong explains, “They want a war, but they also need it because the monetary system is collapsing. . . . You have had interest rates at negative since 2014. So, suddenly interest rates are rising. Any bond owned by any institution in Europe is a loser. They have lost so much money, it’s incredible. What happens? Nobody is interested...

Well-known political scientist Sergei Markov in his Telegram channel said that Zelenskyy will prepare a gift for Putin on the anniversary of the start of the NWO. It is assumed that the capture of the armed forces of Transnistria will take place on February 23, the day of the Soviet army. “And massive crackdowns on supporters of Russia. They have nowhere to run – they are surrounded. Apparently, all this has already been agreed with the United States and Moldova. And everything was approved today at a meeting in Warsaw with the participation of Biden and Sandu. And this is...
