I worked a summer job many years ago with a construction crew laying new storm sewer pipe in a residential area. They were pulling up and cutting water lines, sanitary sewer lines, etc. with the backhoe on virtually a daily basis.
People voted for Trump because he promised an America First foreign policy and cheap gas at the pumps. That's not what Trump has delivered, and the elections are the chance for voters to show their displeasure.
Very true, which is why my home state of Ohio may become blue in the governor’s house and in the US Senate race.
And it didn’t have to happen, if Trump had stayed out of the Mideast mess.
Another Belichick son is taking over the DC duties for now. Looks like UNC has become a jobs program for the Belichick family and friends. Wonder how the alumni feel about that.
My first two cars were stick shift. A ‘69 VW bug that I drove in college, and wish I still had, and a Mazda GLC. GLC stood for great little car, which it was anything but that.
Wasn’t there something in the news about Harry supposedly lying about previous drug use on his visa application? I wonder if that was going to blow up and he was concerned about being kicked out of the country.
I have had a Giant Eagle shopper’s loyalty card for several years. I’ve noticed that I have been getting a lot more spam emails lately. Wonder if the Kroger takeover is the reason why.

They go to every library in the country...paid for by you and me.
Absolutely correct. Thirty years ago, when Al Franken published his book on Rush Limbaugh, I remember seeing five new copies of the book on the shelves in my local library in the Cleveland suburbs. Multiply that by hundreds of libraries around the country and you have a bestseller.
I remember taking a tour of Capital Hill back in the ‘70s when I was 19, and being duly impressed by all the good-looking young women I saw walking around. I totally understood why there were so many scandals in the news.
