I think there is another PSYOP aspect to this that I think is hard to perceive unless you are in this particular underground network.
When Trump was elected the first time, in my small town more than half of the 25% Hispanic elementary school children didn’t go to school the next day, and much of the rest of the week. And it wasn’t in protest.
You and I know that Trump wasn’t going to deport them all that day, but . . .
We ate “Grasscutter” (cane rat) in Africa and honestly it wasn’t too bad. I’ve eaten plenty of squirrels, which are also in the rodent family, they just have better plumage and PR.
“The main thing to watch for in the near term is whether Trump curtails U.S. weapons headed to Ukraine. Although he said in December that he might reduce U.S. military aid to Ukraine once in office, that has yet to happen. Ukraine’s ability to hold off Russia depends on maintaining the flow of U.S. weapons. Everything changes if that stops. Europe cannot make up the shortfall. So while the rhetorical fireworks between Trump (and Vance) and Zelenskyy grab the headlines—Trump himself said that today’s meeting made for “great television”—deeds matter more than words.”
