It’s much easier to raise money when you’re not in power. You can detail all the things that you WOULD do if you were in power “We will repeal Obamacare on day 1 if we regain power!”. Knowing that they won’t, even if they have to designate someone to vote against their bills.

Why? If Trump solves all the “big name” problems it leaves the GOP nothing to run on. They need big name items to make sure that they can fundraise and get re-elected.

Do I like it? OF COURSE NOT. But this is how things seem to be to me.

I believe the problem is Trump is trying to fix problems. The same problems that the Republicans run on every cycle. If Trump were to fix them all, they’d have nothing to run on.

Right! That’s what SHOULD be done, but I wanna know what IS being done about it.

They’ll charge this guy with something stupid, and then quietly pass the law that didn’t exist so that they can charge the NEXT one with it.

The truth of the matter is that it was probably being talked about behind closed doors, and this prosecutor jumped the gun and tried to charge someone with it before it was on the books.

This was a stupid move. There was no way to look good regardless of the outcome of the study. If you find it’s HELPFUL, then you’ve offended all your normal customers. If you find it’s HURTFUL, then you’ve offended all the trans people in the world. As NOTHING is EVER allowed to be said that doesn’t 100% support their cause.

This is just the first round of accusations. Should “Politically motivated” not garner enough traction they’ll pull out the old “Racist and sexist” chestnut next.

IIUC, Jag isn’t selling those Obama-nations yet. I’ve yet to see a real picture of one.

Let’s see what happens. We saw that the government CAN raid/destroy a “religious based compound” in Waco. Let’s see if they have the nerve to stop this one when it’s a different religion.
