“That was the way they wrote the letter “s” at that time. That carried through to our Colonial and early nationhood days. The Declaration of Independence among other documents contain that same penmanship.”

George Washington’s Proclamation establishing Thanksgiving Day uses the same letter “f” where our letter “s” is now used.

“These idiots who think there is manstration must be hammered.”

Like I’m sure they are reading FR to get hammered by you. And, in case you didn’t notice, the majority of the comments on this thread are gutter humor, not targeted comments on the idiocy of the menstruating men concept. The comments here are mostly barroom humor and not about the woke politics of the left.

I do like your new word though, manpons. That indeed fits the definition of political satire and plays with the left’s propensity to twist words to suit their political agenda. Your word is on point. The rest of this thread, bleh.

I see that the mostly men on this thread are using it as a way to express adolescent locker room humor. I’m not liking this thread because I find the topic frankly gross, and am surprised to see it on here.

In the olden days, such topics of conversation would not be out in the public forum. But it appears nowadays, in today’s anything goes social media culture, along with the coarsening of it, such threads as these now pop up.

Wish I could go back in time when certain subjects best kept private, weren’t put out into the public sphere. This cheapens the discourse and doesn’t make the FR forum look good.

And I know my comment here will elicit responses such as lighten up, good clean fun (it’s not clean) etc., but ask if most of your parents would want to read this thread, or their parents before them. I think I know the answer. The word vulgar comes to mind.

Can you imagine the withdrawal the 20 and 30 year olds in Ukraine will experience when their phones and computers are dead and they can no longer text or call a friend? I am not sure the intelligence communities of various nations have even taken time to cogitate on the implications of such a development. The most likely outcome is that people will vote with their feet and go to where they can charge their phones and make a call. This means mass emigration into neighboring countries with viable power grids.

BINGO. Right you are. A talking head on Fox was saying they are expecting more mass emigration from Ukraine, and they are right. And he also said that EU countries are not prepared for another large migration to their countries that they will have great difficulties with absorbing the influx.

“RuZZians are dying by the thousands every month.

I’ll bet their mothers aren’t singing and dancing. Many of those soldiers would rather be anywhere else but in Ukraine having to fight in a war they don’t want to be involved in.

“Some pseudo-intellectual twatwaffle at our universities can fool a bunch of muddle-headed teenagers and potheads, but they can’t pull anything over business men and women, laborers, and other victims of socialism or communism. Why aren’t these kind of folks on CNN/ABC/NBC/PBS/MSNBC every month, telling their tales?”

I just got off the phone with a very nice Spectrum (cable/internet company) lady about a problem I was having with my remote control and other potential change of service problems. Somehow or the other our conversation ranged far and wide from the initial problem I had called about. We hit if off; I live in FL and she lives in CA.

After I was pretty sure she was a conservative by things she was saying, we compared States, and as she had once when younger lived in the free state of FL, she said she missed it (she lives in San Diego, CA). Our conversation turned to politics; I told her how I originally lived in IL for many years, and escaped to FL 4 plus years ago.

We agreed that both CA and IL were political cesspools; she said she would love to someday move back here to FL if given the chance. Her husband is an American Airlines pilot based in CA, and her family (parents, brothers/sisters,children, etc) all live there so the odds of getting back to FL are slim.

We were discussing the similarities between Dem (Socialist) control of both IL and CA, and she said she knew all about Socialist/Communist ideology and those stuck living under it. Her parents (her Dad is a Frenchman and her Mom is Cuban) met on a Cuban beach before Cuba went Commie; they got married, lived for a time in France and would visit her Mom’s parents that still lived in Cuba upon occasion.

They kept an eye on the coming Fidel Castro movements to overthrow the Cuban gov’t, and her mother’s French husband said we better go back to visit your parents as it might be the last time you will see them for a long time. 25 years to be exact. They visited her mom’s parents in Cuba and shortly thereafter Fidel took power, and all lines of communication between her Mom/Dad and her Mom’s parents in Cuba ceased. They didn’t know if her Mom’s parents were alive or dead.

Finally after 25 years they were able to track down their parents and reestablish contact in Cuba. Her Mom’s daughter (Rose) whom I was talking to, hates Communists as do all of her family. So yes, we should hear as many stories as possible over the Media and via talking to those we meet whose parents, friends or themselves have escaped from Communist countries.

I have a lady who helps me with housework during the week. She was from Bulgaria that was once a satellite state of Russia and thus under the Russian Communist political orbit. Her Mom’s brother was against the Communist control of Bulgaria and his views came to the attention of the local Commie political bureaucrats. His immediate family was uprooted, and they were forced to move to an obscure part of Bulgaria away from where he had always lived near their family friends and relatives. She too hates Communism for what they did to her mother’s brother.

We need all the living testimonials we can get by whatever means, but that won’t be easy as our MSM by and large, schools, Big Tech and even the medical professions are now chock full of indoctrinated socialists brainwashed by our socialist educational institutions, and I’m afraid life in our increasingly socialist paradise is going to get much worse before it gets better unless we fight back tooth and nail to save our Country.

“History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” – George Orwell, 1984

This is such an important article to read (see below), basically about the Pilgrims and the founding of our nation as it truly was, not based on racism (as the 1619 Project wants to portray it). This is our real history, as the Pilgrims documented everything so we have a lot of firsthand information with which to trace our Country’s roots as it occurred in real time.

This is truly a fascinating article to read and I hope that all of you will take the time to re-discover our nation’s origins, the land of the Pilgrims, before it becomes lost to the tearing down of it by the true haters among us in their attempt to create a “new” society, an American version of Communism, and thus destroy our Country as we know it (lots of historical pictures throughout article):

“What is the point of impeaching him when the Senate will not convict?”

That is exactly what the Dems did to Trump, impeached him in the House and not convicted in the Senate. And the Dems used the word impeached in every propaganda sentence thereafter to impugn Trump’s character and make him appear corrupt. The fact that he wasn’t is immaterial; they spun the lie to try to take Trump down.

That is the point of impeaching Biden. Revenge. Do the same thing to Biden by sticking him with the stigma of impeachment just like they did to Trump. Use it as OUR propaganda against the Biden regime, who actually IS corrupt. No lie there.

Geez, when will Pubs learn how to fight fire with fire. Never?

“Yep they will try to associate and wrap up key congressman in this”

They want to indict one or two key Congressmen in order to get them removed from office, thus shifting the balance of Dems/Pubs in the House back into the Dem column and thus back into total control of both Houses of Congress as well as the Presidency. Totally Machiavellian; the Dems will be as devious as they always are in their attempts to gain total control over our gov’t and our Country.

Paul Rino, on the Board of Directors of Fox News, is now transforming, along with Fox owner the decrepit Rupert Murdoch and his totally liberal son Lachlan (whose wife is even more of a Lib) the channel into a complete anti-Trump entity. Lachlan is the one actually running Fox and he and Rino Ryan with Rupert Murdoch’s blessing, are working in lockstep to Trash Trump and attempt to prevent Trump from becoming President again.

All of the hosts and contributors on Fox are now compromised; either playing along to please their bosses by badmouthing Trump now, or are treading on eggshells with their words, or are wearing Midas Mufflers over their mouths and remaining silent on all things Trump. The word has gone down from on high, and Fox is turning into what will eventually be a largely unwatchable channel with the exception of a few programs. Thank goodness there is now an alternative, Newsmax.
