Major problem with this. If quantum entanglement is between two "particles" then to prove entanglement you would have to separate the two particles with no means of communication between them and observe the others behavior when one of them is changed.

But here, the article says the particles are two photons of light and the two are connected via fiber-optic cable which is a medium of light. So where is the separation needed to prove that entanglement is happening? I don't see any separation here.

However, if one photon was sent over one fiber-optic cable onto another fiber-optic cable and the two cables were disconnected, then I would say we had a valid test. But I don't see how they separated them from the original medium, the one fiber-optic cable?

Oh, re-read your post. Your laptop is a 2019. So a new Laptop probably won't help. I would contact HP after SSD installation on any firmware upgrades/settings to fully access it.

What exactly are you doing that you needed an SSD for your laptop? If all your wanting is Operating System speed, Amazon has a nice upgrade Kit:

But if you are talking about intense Web Servers and fast databases. I'd be looking at a RAID drive or multiple RAID drives over a fiber optic interface.

For me, just wanting speed out of Windows. My SSD and some tweaks on my cheap Aspire 5 are heaven. But I cheated you see. Bought the Laptop with the SSD already in it and built for it and it shows.

So you might want to think of another Laptop with 2TB SSD already installed. Good grief, they come multi-core these days anyway.
