And yes, it would be nice if one of those two dropped out instead of wasting millions on a runoff. Paxton has serious character problems, Cornyn is unreliable as a conservative, but either one of them will be better for America than Clown-a-rico.

I sympathize with you. As a Vermonter, folks assume I must be a liberal because our state nearly always elects Democrats and radicals. In fact, most rural Vermonters lean conservative.

Unfortunately, the larger population centers of Burlington, Brattleboro, and Montpelier vote left wing by 80-20 or more.

IMAGINE is a song for the people. Nicolas Maduro recently sang his version of it to his supporters in Venezuela. It sent chills up my spine it was so beautiful.

Defense attorneys jury-shop all the time. I was once excluded from serving on a jury because the crooked progressive defense attorneys knew I was going to vote to convict their slimeball client. But prosecutors had better not shop for honest servants!

Okay. One habit that won’t change is that Baptists don’t like to wait until Christmas eve or Christmas day to sing Christmas carols, and the secular world is right there with them on that. At least the Baptists don’t sing “Here Comes Santa Claus” on the first Sunday of Advent.

Baptists don’t understand the difference between beautiful Advent hymns and lovely Christmas hymns or carols. They miss the profound meanings of the words of Advent hymns. None of the most beautiful of them are doctrinally suspect. They are about waiting, and about what happens leading up to the birth of the God man as an infant.

Christ child aborning is something several other conservative denominations patiently wait for.

Does it really matter? Waiting steadfastly for the birth of the Christ child gives the day of his birth a different meaning and feeling. It helps to teach us to await the end of the church age when Christ will make another appearance on earth.

At least Baptists don’t bring out the Christmas carols in July.

Pick up any Christian hymnal. In it you will find dozens of beautiful hymns with striking “lyrics” just crying for a beautiful voice accompanied by piano, organ, or orchestra to coax them off the page and into the popular imagination. But it does not happen because the requisite values of those with money and those with attractive talent are missing. It’s not cool. Even dollars don’t tempt them for some reason.

The same thing happens with regard to American history in Hollywood. There are dozens of stories from our vast colonial and United States history screaming for adaptation to the big screen. No dice. They can’t imagine it if it won’t degrade, depress, or corrupt their audience. Good. Let Hollywood dwindle. There are more important things in life.

I believe you are what Rush used to call a “seminar caller.” I see it is hard to mask what you really are rooting for: Trump in prison, Gop loses House and Senate, two rock solid GOP states—Florida and Ohio—suddenly swing left. These scenarios are unlikely to happen.

The country is not and will not be in any mood to go backwards. Trump is getting a handle on government overspending. The borders are closed. The border jumpers are being deported. Illegal drugs are harder to get and more expensive. The tranny hysteria is deflating. Peace is breaking out all over the world.

People don’t want to see all this progress on troubling issues reversed, which is exactly what Democrats will do if awarded power by the voters.
