Hostages are always going to be a casualty of war. Changing policy in sympathy for a few people who are almost certainly broken by now anyway can’t be allowed to influence the overall mission and its success. Harsh, yes, but that’s the reality. The Israelis would be wrong to sacrifice their future for a few hostages. Rewarding hostage takers inevitably leads to more hostage taking.
This does not in any way excuse Biden’s meddling in the conduct of the war or his empty platitudes about the American hostages…when he bothers to mention them at all.
The Trump absolutists are actually a problem for him because they do nothing to help with his biggest obstacle to election: bringing more people out to vote for him. Where DeSantis is concerned, there’s just a lot of envy and jealousy around Florida’s success during his leadership, I think.
Yep, that was rough up there. We owned Camp Muir/Hill 55 until March of 1970 when it was handed to ARVNs. I left the bush and was assigned to Security Company, HqBn, 1 MarDiv., outside Danang until rotation.
R registrations in Florida now exceed D by 851,000. The Ds have gone from +950,000 in 1988 to -851,000 Tiday. My county is now R majority for the first time in history.
Pay them not to come to work. They only make things worse when they do. Require an agreement that the money only flows if they don’t get another job. Monitor their SSNs to enforce it.
All the billions these idiot CEOs poured into EVs over the past three years could have been used to develop hybrids. They just couldn’t wait to satisfy their fedgov benefactors and pander to the early adopters and Green Screeches.
