Few if any American leftists ever express gratitude for being born in America. They relentlessly complain and malign this country. They have no appreciation, no gratitude for their good fortune to be American. That's what they do. That is who they are.
This is hardly a modern phenomenon. Gilbert and Sullivan wrote in "The Mikado" (1885):
Then the idiot who praises, with enthusiastic tone

The assumption of this piece is that warming temperatures promote mosquito proliferation and hence, more malaria.
In fact, the worst outbreak/pandemic of malaria in recent times occurred in the USSR in Siberia in the 1920s. And it lasted throughout several summer/winter cycles. More ignorance from the "settled science" crowd.
Bonus features of this film include possibly the only great acting performance ever turned out by Rat Pack crooner Dean Martin, and a haunting theme written by Morricone.
Dimitri Tiompkin wrote the score to Rio Bravo, not Morricone.
I kept thinking of the scene in The Darkest Hour where Chamberlians party waited for him to waive his white handkerchief before being allowed to cheer a most rousing speech by Churchill.
Chamberlain and Churchill were both members of the Conservative Party.
