  • Vanity-Landlord not cashing rent checks

I don't know what to do here. Landlord is "losing" my rent checks that I always send out a week or two early. I have had to stop payment and reissue two checks in a row. The second time I sent it certified mail, return receipt requested. USPS tracking says he was not present to sign so they did not deliver and left a notice.

2016 Wikileaks Email Resurfaces Revealing John Podesta Was Mastermind Behind Tulsi Gabbard’s Congressional Win (this is the full title which was too long, so I shortened it) While many people love to bash Hillary and are so tired of the “Russia” insanity, others are cautioning the right not to get too “excited” defending Tulsi – especially those people on the right who are painting her as a “moderate” Democrat.

Wednesday was not Robert James Fimbres’ night. Thursday wasn’t looking good either. The Napa County man tried to set Old Glory ablaze in his father’s driveway and things got out of hand. He burned down Dad’s garage instead, American Canyon police say.

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul plans to undergo hernia surgery at a private hospital in Canada because of injuries he suffered when a neighbor tackled him while he was doing yard work at his Kentucky home. The Republican lawmaker is scheduled to cross the border for outpatient surgery scheduled sometime during the week of Jan. 21 at a hospital in Thornhill, Ontario, his attorneys said in a recent filing in Paul's lawsuit against Rene Boucher, who attacked Paul while the senator was doing yard work. The surgery is related to the 2017 attack, the court document says. Boucher pleaded guilty to...

Idaho was great! It is so beautiful there the scenery looks like a painting. The people were great. The only people who were rude were from California, Oregon, Washington and Canada. Idaho residents were uncommonly courteous and friendly. My daughter and I were by ourselves but we felt very safe everywhere we went and slept well for being away from home. We actually felt safer in a strange place than we did at home. Never heard one siren in a whole week. We were mostly passing through small towns that had an openly God oriented atmosphere. Lots of pro life...

Nancy Zieman, who founded Nancy’s Notions in Beaver Dam and became a nationally known figure in the sewing community, has died from cancer. Zieman, 64, was an educator, author, pattern maker, television producer, entrepreneur and innovator who is probably best known for her public television show “Sewing With Nancy.” She hosted the program since 1982 and announced earlier this year that she would no longer be producing the show due to her ongoing illness. Tacony Corp. purchased Nancy’s Notions in 2003, but Zieman remained involved as a spokeswoman and educator.

Peter Lang had a heart-wrenching choice — save his house in the fire-ravaged hills above Santa Rosa or protect the more than 1,000 animals trapped at his wildlife preserve, Safari West. The 77-year-old owner of the 400-acre facility on Porter Creek Road didn’t give it much thought. As the flames approached, Lang ushered his wife, employees and 30 overnight guests off the hill, grabbed a garden hose and began dousing hot spots threatening his collection of primarily African species, including cheetahs, giraffes and rhinoceroses. When dawn broke, they were all alive but Lang’s home was destroyed. “I did not lose...

  • Television News Network Lobbyists Are Fundraising For Hillary Clinton

    10/13/2016 9:35:01 AM PDT · by Califreak · 15 replies
The top fundraisers for Clinton include lobbyists who serve the parent companies of CNN and MSNBC. The National Association of Broadcasters, a trade group that represents the television station industry, has lobbyists who are fundraising for both Clinton and Republican candidate Marco Rubio. Presidential campaigns are obligated by law to send the Federal Election Commission a list of lobbyists who serve as “bundlers,” collecting hundreds of individual checks on behalf of a candidate’s campaign. CNN’s parent company, Time Warner, is represented on Capitol Hill by Steve Elmendorf, an adviser to Clinton during her 2008 campaign, who is also known as...

The utter contempt that the traditional media has for the American people is PALPABLE–and second only to the comtempt the American people’s has for them. It is the media that gave us Obama…. It is the media that covers for the Clintons… And it’s the radical left media that is leading us off the cliff—- if we allow it. Vote Trump, the only politician in my LIFE to ever call for the enforcement of libel against this totally corrupt media

My dad had a stroke 22 years ago that eventually left him permanently disabled. He had another one Sunday before last. He was in the hospital for three days then they shipped him off to rehab in a nursing home. I was somewhat concerned because he was already completely disabled on his left side and the most recent incident weakened his right side as well. While he was at the hospital, I fed him meals a few times. He could feed himself before this happened but he seemed to be having difficulty picking up his sandwich or using a fork...
