Does anyone here at FR have any experience with this program that my daughter has been selected for application? She was nominated for it based on her grade GPA and leadership qualities. It's got a list of alumni that's mighty powerful and impressive. We have to respond on December 5th. Thanks in advance for anyone's comments who may be familiar with the program. And no Monica Lewynski jokes. This one is my daughter.

Sen Charles Schumer accused the federal government of shortchanging New York farmers on certain price support programs, charging the maneuver has cost the Empire State more than $25,000,000 since president Bush has taken office. Schumer(D-NY)criticized the Department of Agriculture's handling of a program designed to keep the prices of milk used for cheese and butter(class III milk) at a certain minimum of $9.90 per hundred weight.New York's senior senator has teamed up with US Senator Arlen Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, to promote a measure that would suspend salaries from the USDA employees who allow a farmer's price support to fall...

Dear (name witheld), Thank you for contacting me about the asbestos litigation issue. I appreciate hearing from you. There have been numerous legislative proposals that seek to address asbestos litigation. One of these proposals is S.1125, the Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution Act of 2003("FAIR ACT") introduced by Senator Orrin Hatch. S.1125 was refered to the Senate Judiciary Committee and on June 4th, the committee held a hearing on the bill. As you may know, the judiciary committee is currently in the process of considering S.1125.Asbestos litigation is a very complex problem. (Exactly why I'm not sure, but I'll go on...

Imagine being a weapons inspector with Geraldo nosing around your butt. The sedatives have become ineffective and our Super-Geraldo is now in Cyprus reporting on anything that has to do with weapons inspection, including where to pick up your paycheck. Inspectors are despirately trying to find Geraldo's lair where his sidearm and "How you too can be a weapons inspector book" is stashed. Geraldo has hired a tailor in Cyprus who will begin fashioning custom tailored weapons inspector outfits once Geraldo gets a peek at this years UNSCOM fashions. The familiar sunglasses neatly arranged atop Geraldo's head have been modified for...

Zimbabwe, facing severe food shortages, turned away a U.S. donation of 10,000 tons of corn because it was not certified as free from genetic modification, U.S. officials said late last week. The food was instead diverted to neighboring Zambia, Mozambique, and Malawi, the U.S. embassy said in a statement. The opposition Movement for Democratic Change in Zimbabwe has accused the Mugabe government of using emergency food as a political weapon by denying aid to the hungry in certain areas.

Geraldo just gave the most outrageous interview I have ever seen. Geraldo made the most non-journalistic comments I have ever heard. Such comments included, "I was the target of snipers and not the Northern Alliance." "I was furious when I found dirty bomb making materials in village"(with silly film footage).I,I,I,I....The guy did not mention our military once. One would have thought he personally defeated the enemy.

Here is today's fashion update that Geraldo has on display. The blue bandana has been discarded in favor of the rust brown bandana. It is being worn in ascot fashion. A new twist on Geraldo's theme has been boldly launched on the viewing audience. The New England Fisherman look is portrayed in the backdrop of some Afghan river which makes the whole thing look like a seen from Jaws. His blue wool fishermans cap tightly hugged his head. Of course the cap was only an accessory which matched his blue merchant marine pea coat with nautical buttons. Matching gloves must be ...

What industry cripples our loved ones through a century long campaign of greed, vanity, and lies? What industry racks up billions of healthcare costs due to the "addictive nature of their product"? What industry could launch such a product on our society without at least a surgeon generals warning label???? The Big Womens Shoe Industry, thats who.....
