First, there is the, ahem, counting system:

One female:

receives abortion (counted once)
receives birthcontrol (counted 365 times how long she is able to get pregnant)
received birth control counseling (counted AT LEAST 52 times how long she is able to get pregnant).

Second, there is the money the administration makes.

If the head dog makes half a million, one can be sure the minions are also racking in our money and snickering all the way to the bank!

Third, several states DO NOT COUNT abortions in the information they give to the feds, they just rake in our money!

“Planned Parenthood received $349.6 million in tax dollars in the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2008, and it paid its president, Cecile Richards, $385,163, plus another $11,876 in benefits and deferred compensation.

According to a “fact sheet” published by the organization, Planned Parenthood Affiliate Health Centers performed 324,008 abortions in 2008.

Planned Parenthood’s fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2008 is the latest year for which the organization has publicly released an annual report and published the annual sum of grants and contracts it received from the government.

In January 2009, Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) introduced legislation to defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers that receive taxpayer funding. His bill, H.R. 614, would amend the Public Health Service Act to prohibit “providing any federal family planning assistance to an entity unless the entity certifies that, during the period of such assistance, the entity will not perform, and will not provide any funds to any other entity that performs an abortion.”

I hope, with all my heart, that this takes off!!

And as for the past and catching up.... we were not in the same position of weakness that we are today. Plus we were isolationist. There is a big difference. Today’s failure is one of deliberate hatred of America and those, mostly men, who died for our freedom.

I am always surprised when someone says they are an atheist yet believe they have a conscience (which can not be “proven” as an organ or existing at all in our body). :)

One thing I always taught my children about lying was “you don't want to lie because God can't bless a lie, and your hanging out there by yourself and you are no match for satan. It's a scary place!”

That same principle applies to not keeping money you know doesn't belong to you.... you place yourself in a scary place.

I've been thinking for some time about there being a difference in people regarding “where” they felt comfortable (in southern talk: their sense of place). My spouse is a mountain person... didn't grow up in the mountains, but went to a life-changing academy in the mountains. He LOVES the mountains and seems to find peace in them. Me, I hate the mountains, the closed in space, the curves and crevices... but I LOVE the east coast southern ocean. Not any ocean, don't like Hawaii, California, Texas nor New England, but find my “home” when I'm in the south eastern shore line. I was born on the ocean, but not raised there... nor spent most of my life on the ocean.. BUT, it is there that my body, soul and Spirit meet and become one... and comune with my Lord Jesus Christ.... which is my sense of place

I agree with you 100%. God has told us this is what happens... it is so predictable for the person who knows Him.
