Actually, the CPO was a decent idea. The person goes through the budget line by line and takes out wasteful spending, so in theory, it’s a nice idea (in practice, I have my doubts... these are government bureaucrats). I just don’t want a tax cheat doing that...

You know who I really want for that seat? Curt Schilling. He was born in AK, and he has the name recognition. And he’s pretty conservative.

And he can’t take Ted Kennedy’s seat, either. I mean, it’s Massachusetts.

I didn’t like Rudy for president, but I really like him for NY senate. He could pull it off, too.

The other guy I wanna see run: Curt Schilling against Mr. Corruption, Ted Stevens.

Actually, I’d argue that Colorado alone will be the decider. VA is still leading a little GOP, while Nevada is still slightly blue.

From what I remember, Diageo/Hotline showed a lot of Obama up by big margins while everyone else was showing McCain up during the Palin surge.
