My oldest brother, Jim ... father of fourteen productive members of society has had cancer found in his lungs. They will be doing CT Scans today to see if surgery is possible, which we all hope is the result. Jim is the best hugger and radiates holiness and comfort ... and for years has taken food to the Sisters in Mexico, for them and for the orphanages ... he was called the "bread man of Orange County", until his trips became more than he could handle, and border crossing became so stringent. My cousin Mike Allen's son, Sean, was killed in a single car accident yesterday near Harrisburg, PA. He is survived by his Dad, Mike and his brother Brian and his Mom. We were notified by his Aunt Liz and are requesting prayer for the repose of his soul and for the family, with particular attention to his brother, Brian.

Claire is the three year old granddaughter of my nephew, Tim and his wife, Susie. Claire lives in Texas with her mom and dad Tiffany and Tyler. Yesterday she was found floating in a pool ... I do not know details beyond that bare and stark fact. She is now at Children's Hospital, but the family in CA is unsure if this is in Houston or Dallas. Many may remember that my son's daughter and only child at that time -- was a victim of Acute Myleogenous Leukemia (adult form), diagnosed when she was nine years old. I have been a strong proponent of bone marrow transplants, because Jennifer is living proof of the success of that procedure. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 Just wanted to let you both (my oldest brother and I) know that (Sr.) Libby (Dahlstrom) is having heart surgery today. Went to get an angiogram yesterday and too much blockage to do a stint or the balloon thing, so surgery was recommended – probably 3 or 4 by- passes – she has blockage of 75% in one large artery and 95% in the other large artery and the others are smaller. On next Saturday,the last survivor of my Father and Mother's generation is having a celebration of her life and all of the lives who have Entered Eternity before her. My oldest niece had a triple bypass within the last couple of days at Texas Heart Institute (Houston or St. Luke's Episcopal or whichever name you wish to use). Bonchien Schipperke World Hi Breeders Standard has stolen my Schipperke database and is offering it as a perk if you buy their software.  Schipperke people, you don’t need that perk, as you already have my site to use for free.
