U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., appeared on a late-night comedy talk show Thursday night but was stone-cold serious in her defense of the Green New Deal, the cornerstone of her progressive agenda. When asked by “Late Night” host Seth Meyers if President Trump’s claims that “cows farting” and “hamburgers” would be outlawed were true, Ocasio-Cortez firmly answered “No.” “I think it’s good to see how these narratives are manipulated," Ocasio-Cortez said, "because they’re trying to say that the Green New Deal is about what we have to give up, what we have to cut back on, when in fact the...

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo suggested in a televised interview Thursday that God may have sent President Donald Trump to Earth to protect Israel. Pompeo made the remarks in an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network, or CBN, in Jerusalem, where he visited the Western Wall with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. When the interview turned to Iranian aggression in the Middle East, Pompeo was asked whether he thought "President Trump right now has been sort of raised for such a time as this, just like Queen Esther, to help save the Jewish people from the Iranian menace." "As a Christian,...

Idiots who support bans on fracking and restrictions on new pipelines say it’s “unexpected†that New York has a shortage of natural gas One of the most simple and basic signs of intelligence is the understanding that actions lead to consequences. In New York, some people are showing a basic lack of understanding of this concept. In New York state, fracking is banned, and new pipelines have been prohibited in certain locations. The natural and logical outcome of these policies is that the state has a shortage of natural gas. Developers who had been planning to build new housing will not be allowed...

President Donald Trump has a low approval rating. He is engaging in bitter Twitter wars and facing metastasizing investigations. But if the election were held today, he’d likely ride to a second term in a huge landslide, according to multiple economic models with strong track records of picking presidential winners and losses. Credit a strong U.S. economy featuring low unemployment, rising wages and low gas prices — along with the historic advantage held by incumbent presidents. While Trump appears to be in a much stronger position than his approval rating and conventional Beltway wisdom might suggest, he also could wind...

Given the new efforts in New York and other states controlled by radical Democrats to expand late-term abortions and even legalize infanticide, an archeology report published earlier this month takes on new, present-day application. What does archeology have to do with late-term abortion or infanticide? That answer lies in the similarities of between what we are seeing in the Abortion Cartel today and what archeologists have recently discovered at the site of the largest known child sacrifice event in the world. The disturbing archeological report detailed excavations at a Peruvian site known as Huanchaquito-Las Llamas. Even archeologists were shocked at...

Every time I try to walk away Somethin’ makes me turn around and stayI can tell you why Liberals want so badly to take Trump down that they will destroy the country to do it. They support killing full term viable and even newborn babies. They’re pushing socialism. They would turn the US into Venezuela. Or Connecticut. They are promising to give away your wealth. They want to pack the Supreme Court.Progressive activists are pushing 2020 Democratic presidential candidates to commit to increasing the number of Supreme Court justices in order to dilute the current conservative majority. The recently created, aptly named “Pack the...

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion provider and a powerful multi-million-dollar political machine. Hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding go for its non-profit “family planning services.” In truth, however, that facilitates Planned Parenthood’s political activities, underwritten by private donations, in support of politicians who keep the federal funding flowing. Fortunately for the pro-life side, the Susan B. Anthony List has reached parity in political fundraising and organizational operations on the ground. Of course, it gets no tax dollars. And the Trump administration has been a great restrictor of the abortion giant with executive guidelines. Recently, the Trump...

Nearly 6 in 10 Americans believe the First Amendment is under threat, according to a new survey, yet a large portion of respondents couldn’t correctly name what the amendment protects. Of the 2,000 adults who took part in the poll, half thought that “liberty” is one of the five freedoms protected by the First Amendment, while nearly half (49 percent) believed “the pursuit of happiness” was included. Thankfully, only 3 percent named “life” as one of the protected freedoms. What’s more, barely more than a quarter (26 percent) of participants knew how many amendments even comprise the Bill of Rights....

The Shia Muslim community in Sweden is concerned about its safety “if Islamic State militants return home.” Unfortunately for the Shia, Leftist Swedes believe that it is “racist” for Sweden not to embrace Swedish jihadis as they would any other Swedish citizen. Many other nations, such as Canada, hold the same view. Leftists and the many charlatans who are gainfully employed in the anti- “racism” industry have managed to exacerbate racial divisions. In this industry, those who do not fit their narrative do not exist. Muslims who are threatened by other Muslims do not exist; neither do blacks who are...

We all knew why Democrats support open borders. We all knew their goal was more imported dependent voters. Finally one Democrat pundit comes clean. The goal of the modern day Democrat Party is to replace Americans with foreigners and drive the GOP to extinction. Sadly, several Republicans in the Pretend Party (12 last week) support this plan. Liberal David Atkins posted a thread on the Democrat Party’s plan for domination — replace Americans and capture the vote forever. David is a contributor at the Washington Monthly and far left Rolling Stone.
