Lady In Blue by New York artist Tschabalala Self, which pays homage to a young, metropolitan woman, is the 16th artwork to feature on the plinth since 1998. Police are searching for two suspects caught on video Friday violently attacking a man who works to serve the homeless in San Bernardino, sending him to the hospital. A killer who broke into a family's home and knifed a six-year-old to death at random has been released from prison for a second time after serving just over half his sentence. Ronald Exantus, 42, walked out of prison in Kentucky on Wednesday after serving almost 11 years in connection with the attack that killed Logan Tipton. Teen killer Karmelo Anthony is seeking a new trial and wants a different judge to oversee any future legal proceedings in his conviction for the murder of Austin Metcalf, his defense team has revealed. Just last month, a jury in Collin County, in the suburbs of Dallas, took less than three hours to convict the 19-year-old of murder over the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet in April 2025. A federal appeals court has unanimously upheld the dismissal of a civil lawsuit that was filed against Minnesota State Trooper Ryan Londregan by the estate of Ricky Cobb II, who was shot and killed by Londregan during a traffic stop in 2023.
