    Appeal For Courage
The new Appeal For Courage is up and running. Thanks to Jason! Please visit appealforcourage.org If someone can cut and paste the wording for me, much appreciated. It has been a pleasure to work on this with Jason. This needs to go out to every member of the military. Thanks in advance to the brave troops that sign, from one mom who knows the heartache. Please help out with pings and keywords. When we get enough signatures, this will be presented to members of Congress. Troops may not sign on a government computer, or during working hours. Thanks! But in the battle for military backing for the war, Republicans have their own support teams. VFW Executive Director Bob Wallace, who personally handed the petition to House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, said the petition comes at an important time. "I think the positive thing of it is, is they get to hear it from the troops. I mean, nobody's made anybody sign this petition," Wallace said the petition's organizers, Navy Lt. Jason Nichols of Florida, and Army Staff Sgt. David Thule, a member of the Minnesota National Guard, are both...

A National Guardsman from Chaska is promoting a petition for soldiers who want to finish the job in Iraq. Monday marked the fourth anniversary of the U.S. and Coalition forces' invasion of Iraq to topple Saddam Hussein. For 2½ of the four years since, David Thul, a 34-year-old Minnesota National Guard sergeant from Chaska, has been on active duty -- for a year in Kosovo and for the past year in Iraq. Recently, Thul joined forces with a Navy lieutenant to send a letter to publications all over the United States, spreading the word that U.S. forces want to stay...

I received a note this morning from LT Jason Nichols in Baghdad that the www.appealforcourage.org has passed the appealforredress guys in signatures in 1/6th the time with a fraction of the same exposure. Remember, appealforredress has full MSM support with prominent time on CNN, CBS and NBC. I would like to personally thank everyone here who has helped them get to this point! Help to continue to spread the word by writing letters, emails to blogs and news organizations.

    60 minutes
Tonight 60 minutes will discuss the Appeal for Redress from some military members in our forces. It is my understanding that 1,361 troops have asked Congress to pull them out of Iraq. The Appeal for Courage that counters this appeal has gathered 1086 signatures in only two weeks. Active duty military that support the war on terror, and wish to finish the job, can sign the Appeal for Courage on line. Please go on line and read the Appeal for Courage. This is an important issue. If someone has the link, please post it. Please post any additional information you...

After only two weeks, a grassroots site where military members can show their support for the mission has reached its first milestone of 1,000 signitures! As congress gears up for another round of debates on the battle in Iraq and threatens to cut off funding for the troops this appeal has become critical. Please spread the word about an appeal for redress that people in the military can sign to show support for the mission: www.appealforcourage.org

DID YOU FEEL IT? At some point in the past few weeks, a shift occured. ... Fearing a repeat of the lawlessness and vandalism which occured in January, several groups are banding together to stand in opposition to this group of radicals. A group of Vietnam veterans calling themselves "A Gathering of Eagles" will stand vigil over the Vietnam Wall. Another group, "Move America Forward," will caravan from San Francisco to Washington DC, where they will set up a patriotic counter-rally on the National Mall. Last week, a Navy officer in Baghdad and a retired soldier began circulating a petition...
