In addition to numerous drug convictions, Roberto Roman's background also includes the fact that he was deported from the United States in 1998. Roman legally entered the United States in 1990, only to be deported eight years later following felony drug convictions. Since then, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says Roman has been arrested twice for illegally re-entering the United States and federally prosecuted once for the same offense.
