WASHINGTON - On Thursday, the United States filed a complaint against the State of New York, challenging state policies that blocked immigration officials from arresting individuals at or near New York courthouses. Specifically, the complaint challenges a law, called the Protect Our Courts Act, that purposefully shields dangerous aliens from being lawfully detained at or on their way to or from a courthouse and imposes criminal liability for violations of the shield. This law and accompanying polices violate the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution because they obstruct the execution of federal immigration authorities.“Lawless sanctuary city policies are the root...

The dad of a young union worker and socialist activist arrested by the FBI for handing out face shields to dozens of LA rioters said his son isn’t a criminal — but slammed him for supplying the anti-ICE riots, and leading the feds to bust down the door of their family home. Francisco Orellana’s reaction to seeing his son Alejandro “Alex” Orellana driving a truck loaded with supplies for protesters was: “What the f--- are you doing?” The elder Orellana, a US citizen who moved to the US in the 1970s, told The Post the feds handcuffed the whole family...

The U.S. government has banned American government personnel in China, as well as family members and contractors with security clearances, from any romantic or sexual relationships with Chinese citizens, The Associated Press has learned. Four people with direct knowledge of the matter told the AP about the policy, which was put into effect by departing U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns in January shortly before he left China. The people would speak only on condition of anonymity to discuss details of a confidential new directive. Though some U.S. agencies already had strict rules on such relationships, a blanket “non-fraternization” policy, as it...

During an interview with Boston Public Radio on Tuesday, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu stated that the city is releasing people wanted by ICE because “ICE is choosing not to go and get these criminal warrants.” And then claiming “so and so was extremely dangerous and a threat to the community. And yet, they’re not taking the action that reflects what they should be doing if they believed that to be true.” Wu stated, “[A]ny agency that gets a judicial warrant, a criminal warrant signed by a judge that has verified probable cause and has gone through that process in the...

Democrat mayors refused to answer whether they would turn over illegal immigrant criminals to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a hearing on Wednesday. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson would not explicitly answer Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer’s (R-KY) question. “Would you turn this criminal over to ICE on a detainer?” Comer asked Johnson, to which the Chicago mayor replied by dodging the question, stating, “Our local law enforcement works hard every day to get criminals off the streets of Chicago.”

Ever since 9/11, the United States has taken an expansive definition of "aiding and abetting" terrorism. To cite merely the latest example, this morning a chap called Khairullozhon Matanov appeared in US District Court in Boston. Who is Mr Matanov? He's a 23-year-old cab driver from Quincy, Mass, and a Kyrgyzstan national. He appears to share the same general view of "the horror that is America" as the acclaimed war hero Bowe Bergdahl, so there's no reason to hold that against him. But he was also a buddy of the Tsarnaev brothers. On the evening after the Boston Marathon bombing,...

San Francisco -- Nearly 30 percent of the felony offenders San Francisco juvenile justice officials have reported to federal immigration authorities since the city stopped shielding youths from deportation have turned out to be adults, authorities say. The city's Juvenile Probation Department has referred 58 offenders to federal authorities since Mayor Gavin Newsom announced July 2 that the city no longer would protect youths from deportation under San Francisco's sanctuary law. The mayor took the step after The Chronicle revealed that the city was paying for flights home and $7,000-a-month group homes for underage, undocumented offenders, who as adults could...

Jihadists affiliated with al Qaida have been entering Lebanon from Syria, and now constitute about half the fighters battling the Lebanese army in a Palestinian refugee camp in the northern city of Tripoli, the commander of Lebanon's internal security forces told the Washington Times. "The head of Fatah al Islam, Shakir Absi, was in the Syrian air force before being released from a Syrian jail and sent to Lebanon by the Syrian military intelligence," sources in the Reform Party of Syria told the Middle Eastern News Line (MENL). Syria's strategy is to distract and weaken the Lebanese army to make...

THE LEFT'S RECKLESS TET-OFFENSIVE-GAMBIT REPLAY:the left's jihad against America is killing our troops, aiding + abetting the terrorists and imperiling all Americans2 WHY THE LEFT IS DANGEROUS FOR AMERICA by Mia T, 8.24.05, 6.01.04 Four-star General Vo Nguyen Giap led Vietnam's armies from their inception, in the 1940s, up to the moment of their triumphant entrance into Saigon in 1975. Possessing one of the finest military minds of this century, his strategy for vanquishing superior opponents was not to simply outmaneuver them in the field but to undermine their resolve by inflicting demoralizing political defeats with...

College student Elle Lahesa described a humiliating experience in her history class the day after Sept. 11, 2001. At a news conference with reporters this week, Lahesa said professor Donald Barry told a class at Tallahassee Community College that America deserved the terrorist attacks - "every bit of it." State Rep. Dennis Baxley, R-Ocala, who stood beside Lahesa, cited the story as the type of radicalism he hopes to quell with a bill intended to protect conservatives on college campuses. It was a chilling story, except that the professor says it's not true. "I absolutely deny that," Barry said Wednesday....
