<description>So I mentioned to a friend today how nice it was to see the Dow surging, possibly breaking a record high soon. My liberal friend said, &#x26;#x22;Oh, the Dow has nothing to do with the economy. They are completely opposite.&#x26;#x22; BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA! I just kind of chuckled and said, &#x26;#x22;Whatever!&#x26;#x22; S/he insisted on saying, &#x26;#x22;No really, it doesn&#x26;#x27;t. They&#x26;#x27;re just basically different.&#x26;#x22; I refused to take the bait and get in an argument. I thought it was funny, but kind of sad: this person has deluded themselves into thinking this surge in the stock market...</description>
