Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed loved the Green New Deal, which is economic poison for his state’s economy. That’s why he tried to bury his tweets supporting it, though it’s not shocking given his far-left views. Okay, it’s not the most earth-shattering news that El-Sayed is a green socialist, but he’s been haggled over his support for Hasan Piker and his virulent antisemitic views, and the concerns of Jewish voters, which his campaign has handled miserably. Black and Jewish voters are the two largest minority voting blocs in the state, and they hate this guy. But there’s another headache...

There are several ways that wars end. –One side conquers and annexes the other. –One side surrenders and gives up some of their land, treasure, and authority in a peace treaty. –One side has a domestic change of government and the new one befriends the other side. –Things reach a stalemate and the shooting stops in an ongoing, uncomfortable sort of permanent ceasefire. The USA-Iran War has never fit comfortably into such normal classifications. During the first 47 years of the war, the Twelver regime of Iran didn’t just attack the United States, but attacked countless countries and interests all...

Swiss drug manufacturer Novartis said Tuesday that it paused eight clinical trials of the cell therapy rap-cel after the deaths of three patients. The halt began on August 24 after Novartis was notified of three cases of a rare but life-threatening allergic reaction called immune effector cell-associated hemophagocytic syndrome (IEC-HS), the company spokesperson said.”

Hunter Biden identified as a “little bit gay” in a recent podcast interview dominated by talk about his sexuality. The former first son, 56, who’s married to Melissa Cohen, made the revealing remarks on an Aug. 16 episode of the Luke Beasley Show podcast. Beasley asked Biden, “Are you gay?” early on in the interview. Former President Joe Biden’s son replied: “Only a little bit.” Beasley then asked if Hunter was “more or less than 50 percent” gay – and the ex-first son said, “48.6 percent.” The podcaster then wanted to know if he’d be Hunter’s “type.” “A little bit...

Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Tuesday complained President Donald Trump has failed to fulfill an 11-month-old promise to restore millions in federal funding to New York’s homeland security operations. Trump said on Truth Social last year he had reversed cuts that took New York’s federal counterterrorism budget from $287 million down to $30 million, but Hochul said Tuesday New York was still $87 million short. “Shame on you for withholding this money, not delivering it to me right now, 10 days before we honor those lives that were lost on 9/11,” Hochul said during a news conference...

It’s a “swipe left” for this lefty. Newly single Democrat darling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez dished on her dating prospects Tuesday when she was asked whether she’d ever date a conservative. “I have to say, probably not,” the New York congresswoman — who has split from her longtime fiance Riley Roberts — told TMZ with a hearty laugh. “No foul to people who do, and of course, how you define that is very different from person to person,” she told the gossip site, which caught up with her on Capitol Hill. “But I think a lot of politics, sometimes, at least...

This video from Black Conservative Perspective analyzes recent political polling trends and discusses why election outcomes often differ from poll predictions. The creator highlights concerns that polls may underestimate Republican support, drawing on historical examples like the 2016 and 2024 elections. Key takeaways from the video: Polling Discrepancies: The creator discusses a CNN segment where data analysts explored scenarios where polls might be wrong. The video suggests that when polls are incorrect, they have historically underestimated Republican performance (0:01:22-0:06:50). Social Trust: The video explores the theory that lower "social trust" among some Republican voters may make them less likely to...

Almost every House Democrat on Tuesday voted against a congressional resolution disavowing socialism and calling for the enactment of President Trump’s election security bill. The non-binding resolution, introduced by Rep. Jeff Crank (R-Colo.), asked lawmakers to condemn and denounce “socialism in all its forms,” including the increasingly influential Democratic Socialists of America movement, and oppose the implementation of socialist policies in the US. The resolution passed in a 220-192 vote, with 192 Democrats opposing the measure. Eight Democrats voted with all Republicans in support of the resolution: Reps. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.), Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas), Henry Cuellar (D-Texas), Darren Soto (D-Fla.),...

A Utah judge paved the way for Tyler Robinson to stand trial for the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Sept. 1. The ruling comes nearly a year after Kirk, 31, was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025. Prosecutors laid out several key pieces of evidence they say links Robinson, 23, to the shooting over the course of a weeklong hearing in July. Robinson's defense attorneys, meanwhile, worked to cast doubt on the evidence, including DNA and ballistics analysis, with hours of questions about the scientific methods used and error rates.

A man in his 50s has died after being seriously assaulted outside a restaurant in Sweden after trying to defend his daughter from a group of young men who had been groping her. Police were called to the centre of the Swedish city of Karlstad at about 1:25 a.m. on Sunday, August 30th, after a violent disturbance broke out outside a fast food restaurant. Officers found a middle-aged man seriously injured at the scene....

Germany’s Foreign and Interior Ministers spoke publicly in Berlin on Sep. 1, 2026, to publicly announce new measures the German government will take against Russia in light of “police investigations” and “intelligence findings” which conclude that a “low-level” Russian agent was behind the drone incidents at Leipzig in August. Security services were first alerted to a potential threat when a quadcopter drone was discovered on the airport tarmac next to a parked Antonov An-124 belonging to the Ukrainian state-owned Antonov Airlines. 800 grams of explosives were attached to the drone, which CCTV footage showed impacting the wing of the aircraft...

James McMaster, 94 years old, lost about $1.3 million in the collapse of First Liberty Building & Loan, the Georgia investment firm built by a family of Republican power brokers. He recently got a call to contribute to a GOP campaign. “I said, ‘OK, let me tell you. Here’s where I’m at,’” McMaster said. “‘When you get all the politicians that have received funds from them and get them to return them, then maybe we can talk.’” The saga of First Liberty and the Frost family that ran it—and were long among the Georgia GOP’s most influential names—haunts the midterms....

Canada’s ruling Liberal party has swept three byelections, a result that showed voters backing the prime minister, Mark Carney, after his face-off with Donald Trump. The Canadian Press, Canada’s national news agency, projected Liberal victories in Chicoutimi-Le Fjord in Quebec, Beaches-East York in Toronto and North Vancouver-Capilano in British Columbia. Carney said the results of Monday’s votes amounted to an endorsement of his government’s approach. “At this consequential time for Canada, voters have placed their trust in our government’s plan,” he said in a statement. The Quebec result was the most dramatic shift. The Liberal candidate Daniel Gobeil was projected...

A group of 500 feral teens stormed a Colorado grocery store and vandalized it in the latest dystopian incident that has left locals terrified. Teens besieged a King Soopers on Peoria Street in Aurora on Sunday afternoon, causing property damage and stealing items, police said. Social media video showed teens carrying stolen tables, throwing food items on the floor, and running around the aisles as shoppers attempted to complete their grocery runs. Teens crowded every part of the store, with the main aisles being overwhelmed with children between the ages of 14 and 17, who screamed and laughed as they...

Imports of small parcels from China have already fallen by up to 40 per cent since a separate €3 EU levy came into force in July. France is cracking down on ultra-fast fashion with a new fee that eventually reach almost €20 per garment. The levy, which comes into force on 1 September, targets major e-commerce platforms including Shein. It follows legislation passed by the French parliament in June to regulate companies known for selling large volumes of lower quality clothing at rock-bottom prices. It is part of a push to rein in Asian e-commerce giants including Shein, Temu and...
