Czech President Petr Pavel said that attacking the Nord Stream pipelines would have been a “legitimate” target for Ukraine amid reports pointing the finger at Kyiv for the sabotage. Pavel, who previously served as NATO chairman and before that at the head of the Czech Armed Forces, said that while he has no information to confirm reports that the Zelensky-led government in Ukraine was behind the September 2022 assault on the Russo-German Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, such an attack would have been justifiable in light of the Russian invasion months prior. Speaking to the online news magazine Novinky...

KYIV, Aug 22 (Reuters) - The U.S. embassy in Kyiv said there was a heightened risk of Russian missile and drone attacks throughout Ukraine in the coming days as the country prepares to mark 33 years since its independence from the Soviet Union on Saturday. Ukraine's top commander, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said earlier this week that Russia had launched 9,600 missiles and 14,000 drones during strikes on Ukraine since it launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022.

VIDEOMany of you have probably already seen the BRILLIANT parody at the DNC convention by Alex Strenger of a Kamala Harris supporter which seemed so over the top yet at the same time so spot on authentic as to fool a BBC reporter. In this video, I intersperse Strenger's parody version of a Kamala supporter with clips of REAL Kamala supporters to prove that despite seeming to be too over the top exaggerated, Strenger was well within the outer bounds of Kamala supporter craziness. If you didn't already know that Strenger was performing a parody, you would have a hard time...

The goal is to deny Donald Trump the White House and it will require mass election interference on behalf of Kamala Harris... veryone invested in a Kamala Harris victory in November isn’t making even the faintest attempt at taking her seriously as a presidential candidate. She’s not one because she has no reason to run for president, no vision, no interest in the job. The whole point of this herculean, gravity-defying exercise we’re in the midst of isn’t to make Kamala president. It’s to deny Donald Trump the White House. The only way that can happen is for election interference...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“The Kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the feast, but they refused to come.” Matthew 22:2–3The king in this parable is God the Father, and the wedding is the marriage between Christ and the Church. The Father invites each one of us to be a member of the Church and to enter into divine union with His Son Jesus, thus entering into the life of the Holy Trinity. But we see right away in the...

Vladimir Putin has earned himself a slagging after choosing to wear ear protectors in a weird way. The alleged reason is even more ridiculous than it looks. The deranged Russian president was recently spotted at a Chechen shooting range alongside the head of the Chechen Republic and close military ally Ramzan Kadyrov. While the Chechen warlord wore his ear protectors the regular way, on his head, the Russian despot wore the protective gear with the strap jutting out around his chin.

For more than 100 years, the FBI has been collecting crime data from local police departments across the country through the Uniform Crime Reporting Program, which has been the gold standard of national crime statistics.By 2020, almost every law enforcement agency was included in the FBI’s database. Some agencies reported topline numbers, such as the total number of murders or car thefts, through the Summary Reporting System. Others reported granular incident data with details about each reported crime through the newer National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). Then it all changed in 2021. In an effort to fully modernize the system,...

For those who do not understand the blind loyalty of people who follow the Climate Change crusade, you must understand that to them it is nothing short of a religious belief. That’s right; Climate Change is a religion whose god is Mother Earth. For leftist politicians, it’s just another means to control the masses, but the religious aspect of Climate Change is ultimately how they are able to convince so many people that it truly does exist and man is responsible for creating it.To really explain what it is I mean, I need to first define the term religion. Then...

CHICAGO, Illinois — The “Uncommitted” movement is staging a sit-in outside the United Center, where the Democratic National Convention is being held, demanding that a Palestinian speaker be added to the schedule. The sit-in is being led by Abbas Alawieh, co-founder of the movement, who is a delegate from Michigan. He and fellow Uncommitted delegates marched out of the stadium on Thursday night and began a protest after the convention featured the parents of an Israeli-American hostage but refused to allow a pro-Palestinian speaker. We are waiting for a phone call from Vice President Harris and the DNC to allow...

Before the Snake River in Jackson Hole had any dam across it, the current ran wide, fast, and turbulent through Jackson Hole. Crossing the Snake, the “accursed mad river,” as the Frenchmen called it, required skill and bravado. At least, that was the case before Bill Menor happened on the scene. Tall, thin Menor spent his early life in Ohio and came to Wyoming in 1892, squatting on the west bank of the Snake River. In 1894 he started construction of a low log house among the cottonwoods along the bank of the river, and he bought a cow or...

WASHINGTON, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, 99, is eagerly awaiting his chance to cast a ballot for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris this fall even as he approaches his 100th birthday, his grandson said on Wednesday. Carter, a Democrat who served in the White House from between 1977 and early 1981, has been in hospice care for about 18 months and suffered the loss of his wife Rosalynn last year. But he remains "engaged" and wants to see the country move past former Republican President Donald Trump, Jason Carter told MSNBC. "He's super aware," Jason Carter...

A video of Vice President Kamala Harris encouraging Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz before his speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday in Chicago, Illinois, is getting blasted online. The clip, which Harris shared on Wednesday, shows her calling Walz and asking him how he is feeling before taking the stage. She then tells the radical leftist that he will be “fantastic” during his speech. “I’m ready; thanks for the opportunity. It’s gonna be electric in there, and the messages this entire week are so great. So, go down there and deliver a freedom speech,” he replies. Harris then...

(NewsNation) — If you need money from an ATM, and it’s not a machine run by your bank, you’ll be paying more than ever before, according to an annual survey from Bankrate. The national average combined out-of-network ATM fee is now $4.77, up from $4.72 last year. The combined fee is the sum of the charge by an out-of-network bank, $3.19, plus the average charge of $1.58 levied by your own bank for using an out-of-network ATM. “Confine cash withdrawals to in-network ATMs or get cash back when using a debit card,” advises Greg McBride, Bankrate’s chief financial analyst. “See...

Colorado Sen. John Hickenlooper (D) said Wednesday that he will run for reelection just once. “I’m only gonna do two terms,” Hickenlooper told Punchbowl News’ Andrew Desiderio. “I’ve said it first here, two-term limit, oath of conscience.” Hickenlooper, the state’s former governor, gained a seat in the upper chamber by way of winning a key race against former Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) in 2020. “There should be more people that are involved in local, municipal politics and governing and state politics and governing, who [get] into the Senate so that they bring those experiences with ‘em,” said Hickenlooper, who has...

Newly developed battery-powered electric bandages could help wounds heal more quickly, a new study reports. In animal testing, wounds treated with electric bandages healed 30% faster than wounds treated with conventional bandages, researchers reported Aug. 7 in the journal Science Advances. The bandages could be a game-changer in treating slow-healing wounds caused by diabetes and other chronic illnesses, researchers say. Those sorts of wounds significantly increase a person’s risk of amputation and death. “Our goal here was to develop a far less expensive technology that accelerates healing in patients with chronic wounds,” said researcher Amay Bandodkar, an assistant professor of...
