I never will forget when I persuaded my husband to vote for Obama as I just knew he was THE man. Now, I feel guilty and cannot believe that I was so taken in by his smoothe personality and the moment. When I hear comments that our country is spiraling out of control I now connect the dots and think of it as a battle already lost to one that doesn’t deserve it. We’ve become a gullible people and are deceived by a selfish and materialistic world. We look over the rough spots because we cannot look upon the truth...

The Supreme Court ruling in favor of President Barack Obama’s healthcare overhaul will do little to reduce the uncertainty that is preventing employers filling job openings, former GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich predicted. Instead that doubt will continue at least until November when voters will decide whether to install a Republican president and Congress that would repeal the law, he said in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV. Speaking from Italy, the former House speaker said, “Unless the Congress repeals it, it’s going to be law. And unless Obama is defeated for president, it’s going to be law. “So that guarantees...

“going to be Mitt Romney Country,” New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie believes his state will support Mitt Romney’s bid for president as much as he does. Standing alongside the Republican presidential candidate, Christie told donors at a $50,000-a-plate fundraising dinner on Tuesday night in Woodbridge, N.J., that the state is “going to be Mitt Romney Country,” according to the Boston Herald. Calls for the victims of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre to be remembered with a minute's silence at the opening of the London 2012 Games have been rebuffed by the organisers. Ankie Spitzer has campaigned unsuccessfully for the act of remembrance since the atrocity. Her husband - fencing coach Andre Spitzer - was one of 11 Israeli athletes and trainers killed when the Palestinian "Black September" organisation attacked apartments in the Olympic village and took them hostage in what was the darkest chapter in Olympic history. The world looked on in horror as friendly competition was replaced by killing and...

Democratic Rep. Adam Smith of Tacoma introduced a bill Wednesday that would grant the spouses of gay men and lesbians serving in the military the same benefits as their heterosexual counterparts. Smith, the House Armed Services Committee ranking member, said that while the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” was a good start, there is more that can be done to ensure the rights of service members and their spouses. Smith’s bill, the Military Spouses Equal Treatment Act of 2012, would redefine the term “spouse” in federal laws governing military benefits as any individual who has entered into a valid...

People died. It is something to remember during today’s historic House vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt. Never before has a sitting attorney general been held in contempt. With all the hoopla over past scandals from Watergate to Filegate to Pardongate, the cover up was always worse than the crime. Yet, in "Fast and Furious," the guns that the US government supplied to Mexican drug gangs have been used to kill one American border agent and over 300 Mexican citizens and commit numerous other crimes. To date, because of administration stonewalling, we don't have answers to the...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Isaiah 45 18. For this is what the Lord says— he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited — he says: “I am the Lord, and there is no other. 19. I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right.

US Senators and House Representatives Weigh in On Government Authority to Tax at Will Following SCOTUS Ruling, and huge tax to impact the middle class! Right Side News gathered several of the immediate press releases in response to the Supreme Court split decision on ACA, or Obamacare. The bottom line is simple. The Supreme Court has paved an eight lane super highway without a speed limit smack in front of our elected representatives from the President on down to TAX AT WILL and believe me the juggernaut of tax legislation is tumbling around in all the scheming brains inside the...

1) Carried out military interventionism U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) said that Obama had violated the Constitution when he launched military operations in Libya without Congressional approval. 2) Gave a no-bid contract to Halliburton The Obama administration selected KBR, a former subsidiary of Halliburton, for a no-bid contract 3) Has an administration full of lobbyists While running for President, Obama had promised that, unlike Bush, he would not have any lobbyists working in his administration. However, by February 2010, he had more than 40 lobbyists working in his administration. 4) Has close ties to Wall St. Although Obama claims to...

Explanation: Part of a dark expanse that splits the crowded plane of our Milky Way galaxy, the Aquila Rift arcs through the northern hemisphere's summer skies near bright star Altair and the Summer Triangle In silhouette against the Milky Way's faint starlight, its dusty molecular clouds likely contain raw material to form hundreds of thousands of stars and astronomers eagerly search the clouds for telltale signs of star birth. This telescopic close-up looks toward the region at a fragmented Aquila dark cloud complex identified as LDN 673, stretching across a field of view slightly wider than the full moon. In...

WASHINGTON (NNS) -- As part of the Navy's continuing efforts to eliminate sexual assaults and promote positive culture changes within the fleet, the Chief of Naval Personnel announced June 28 the creation of new Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) training. For the first time, targeted and comprehensive sexual assault prevention training will be delivered to every active and reserve uniformed member in the Navy. The training follows the Navy's all-hands efforts for Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, during which all Sailors from commands around the world took part in focused stand-down sessions highlighting varying aspects of sexual assault...

Yes, Obama and the Democrats are entitled to a bit of a victory lap today, after Chief Justice Roberts searched deeply within his political self and found a path to uphold ObamaCare. Today's ruling will probably go down in history as the most effective GOP voter turnout operation ever. There is only one way to repeal ObamaCare and that is through the ballot box. It will happen. Obama campaigned on a promise to never raise taxes on any families earning less than $250,000 a year. Today, the Court called the mandate for what it is...a tax. In doing so, it...

It takes several lifetimes to put a new energy system into place, and wishful thinking can’t speed things along In June 2004 the editor of an energy journal called to ask me to comment on a just-announced plan to build the world’s largest photovoltaic electric generating plant. Where would it be, I asked—Arizona? Spain? North Africa? No, it was to be spread among three locations in rural Bavaria, southeast of Nuremberg. I said there must be some mistake. I grew up not far from that place, just across the border with the Czech Republic, and I will never forget those...

A US-based company and its Canadian subsidiary today pleaded guilty to the charges of helping China develop a new attack helicopter and agreed to pay a penalty of USD 75 million as part of the settlement. At a federal court hearing in Bridgeport, Conn., United Technologies and its two subsidiaries, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Hamilton Sundstrand Corp, pleaded guilty to violating Arms Export Control Act and making false statements in connection with its export to China of US-origin military software used in China's first modern military attack helicopter the Z-10. In addition, they all agreed to pay more than...

SALEM (MA)— Moments after learning he’ll spend the next three years in prison, Daniel Eremian unloaded on his brother-in-law, Congressman John Tierney, calling the Salem Democrat “the biggest liar in the world.” “He knew everything that was going on,” said Eremian, 62, the former owner of Brodie’s Pub in Peabody who now lives in Boca Raton, Fla. “He sat in the boxes with bookies at Fenway Park.” He called Tierney’s claims to the contrary “hogwash.” Tierney, through his spokeswoman, Kathryn Prael, denied Eremian’s claims in a statement earlier tonight. “Today, clearly bitter at having lost his case and harboring old...

ACA's biggest flaw is the assumption that the millions of poor folks or nearly poor, including illegals, will rush to buy health care insurance. They will not. Instead, they will resume their visits to the emergency room and trash the bill when it arrives in their PO Box. As for a penalty tax......forget about that too ! These folks live mainly off the grid and many like it that way. Nothing will change for this vast segment of society. It will be business as usual.
