There's been an unwelcome development in Venezuela, and it comes in the form of colectivos on motorcycles armed with Russian-made weapons hunting down citizens who cheered the actions of the Trump administration, which led to the fall of dictator Nicolás Maduro. While Maduro awaits justice in a New York jail, his civilian
foot soldiers – after having gone underground in the wake of the United States' successful combined military and law enforcement action – have surfaced and are looking to serve up a justice of their own on anyone who welcomed Trump's involvement and cheered Maduro's removal. Several different reports...

President Donald Trump told House Republicans on Tuesday, during remarks at their annual retreat, that ousted Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro had tortured people, describing him as responsible for widespread violence and abuse. "He's
a violent guy and he's killed millions of people," said Trump, in comments airing on Newsmax, while decrying Democrats' complaints about the weekend military operation that led to the capture of Maduro and his wife. "They have a torture chamber in the middle of Caracas that they're closing up. But he's tortured people," he said.

The Bolivarian regime seems to be eating itself, now. Monday
night erupted in heavy firefights in Caracas, more specifically in areas of Miraflores, where the presidential palace is located. This comes a mere hours after the interim president, Delcy Rodríguez, was formally sworn in. Rumors have been circulating that Maduro’s right-hand man, Diosdado Cabello, was planning a coup d’état against Rodríguez. Apparently, her first decisions were not to the liking of the generals of the highly ideological Bolivarian Armed Forces of Venezuela. Diosdado controls many of the ‘colectivos of Venezuela’, far-left, heavily armed paramilitary groups operating independently of the Government.

The United States hit Venezuela with a “large-scale strike” early Saturday and said President Nicolás Maduro and his wife were captured and flown out of the country after months of stepped-up pressure by Washington. President Donald Trump insisted the U.S. government would run the country at least temporarily and was already doing
so.The legal authority for the strike — and whether Trump consulted Congress beforehand — was not immediately clear. The stunning, lightning-fast American military action, which plucked a nation’s sitting leader from office, echoed the U.S. invasion of Panama that led to the surrender and seizure of its leader,...

BREAKING: Explosions heard in Venezuela’s capital Caracas
|
| |
Roya ^
| 01/03/2025 | | World
Loud explosions, accompanied by sounds resembling aircraft flyovers, were heard in Caracas around 2:00 am (06:00 GMT) Saturday, an AFP journalist reported. The
explosions come as US President Donald Trump, who has deployed a navy task force to the Caribbean, has raised the possibility of ground strikes against Venezuela. Thick columns of black smoke also rose over the city’s skyline. On Monday, Trump claimed a strike had been carried out against a "docking facility" in the country, though today’s blasts appear to be centered within the capital's metropolitan core rather than on the coast.

Fracas in Caracas and Six for Sedition

A strange week in which Nicolás Maduro was reduced to hoping that Mark Kelly could bail him out. The
president warned everyone to avoid the airspace over or alongside Venezuela this week. “To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY.” We have positioned a serious armada on that country’s shore. Among the explanations for these moves the most plausible I can find is Jeff Childers', who once again documents his views with credible links. The Caribbean communist country is practically daring us to do something...

Nicolás Maduro's days are numbered, and no one knows it better than the man himself. If
you can call him that. As I wrote earlier this week, he wears $1,000 shoes, while the people of Venezuela can't even feed their children. That's not a man. Anyway, as I'm writing this, it's Sunday evening, which means that when the clock strikes midnight tonight, Maduro's Cartel de los Soles will officially become a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). As usual, there's a lot of speculation going on in the MSM this weekend, ranging from military action that may or may not go down...

Bad day for Venezuela's dirty dictator: U.S. rescues dissidents held hostage in Caracas

Going Entebbe on the hostage-taking dictator, right in front of his patron, Vladimir Putin. For Venezuela's fraudulently elected Nicolas Maduro, in Moscow to pay tribute to his patron Vlad Putin, yesterday was kind of embarrassing for both of them. Way
under the radar, Secretary of State Marco Rubio had been busy, figuring out a way to make both of them look like weaklings, and with perfect timing, he succeeded: The U.S. welcomes the successful rescue of all hostages held by the Maduro regime at the Argentinian Embassy in Caracas. Following a precise operation, all hostages are now safely on U.S....

So Venezuela is sending their best? Joe Biden is importing the Caracas slums into the U.S., through his open border

Back in 2015, then-candidate Donald Trump took a lot of flak for saying "Mexico is not sending their best" in reference to those crossing into the U.S. illegally based on then-President Obama's nearly open border. Today,
it's Joe Biden's open border and millions have entered illegally. Mexico not sending their best? Now it's Venezuela, where it comes to light that we are literally importing the Caracas slums into our country. According to the Daily Mail:Henchmen for Venezuela's dictator and many of the South American country's worst criminals have crossed over the US border and are now causing chaos in major...

Venezuela: intense gun battles rage in Caracas between gangs and police
|

The Guardian ^
Heavily armed criminal groups have moved in the past month to residential and commercial areas from slums in the city’s hills, and violence has exploded over the past 24 hours with firefights breaking out in at least five populous neighborhoods. President
Nicolás Maduro’s government has not mentioned any casualties as a result of the clashes. Human rights activists in the area have said at least four civilians were killed on Wednesday and half a dozen have been wounded. The gangs want to control one of the main corridors linking the capital with the west of the country, said a human...

Garbage- and graffiti-strewn Portland upchucks at offered federal help; They'd rather their Caracas-like city be left to fester

Oregon's city of Portland is looking more like Caracas, Venezuela by the day, not just in its Marxist ideology, but in its moral rot and physical shambles. John
Hinderaker at Power Line noted a few days ago that he had until recently taken comfort in knowing that his home city of Minneapolis wasn't the worst-run city in America, because of Portland. But now the blue-city shambles is taking another turn - Portland's leaders are openly screaming for federal law enforcement coming in to protect federal property, such as courthouses, to leave the burning garbage dump that is their city. They'd...

CARACAS - Buoyed by a telegenic new congressional chief, Venezuela’s opposition is daring to hope that President Nicolas Maduro’s days in office could be numbered, but the unpopular leader’s bedrock base - the armed forces - shows few signs of erosion. Opposition
sympathizers, rallying around opposition leader Juan Guaido, are holding open air town-hall meetings that buzz with excitement about the legislature’s recent challenges to the legitimacy of Maduro, who this month began a new term widely slammed as illegitimate. Bolstered by the United States and numerous Latin American neighbors promising to back the opposition in seeking a transition, the...
