If I tell the babysitter to use her own judgment about when to put the kids to bed, but that she ought to let them stay up until about 8:30pm...

...and she makes them go to bed at 7:30pm so she can watch her favorite TV show uninterrupted (silly thing - fat chance of that happening)...

...she has NOT disobeyed my instructions.
