"Easily obtainable" and being allowed to keep guns in your own home are not mutually inclusive. Yes, citizens can borrow weapons if they are trained and if they are travelling to a dangerous area. They may not keep firearms in their own homes unless they are of the military or police class.

You are wrong and I suspect you know it. But I am not interested in your games.

"Easily obtainable" and being allowed to keep guns in your own home are not mutually inclusive.

Again, reading CATO carefully, one must see the common sense contradiction of the above statement. Let's check out CATO again:

Switzerland and Israel "have rates of homicide that are low despite rates of home firearm ownership that are at least as high as those in the United States."(emphasis added)

To accept Demidog's premise, one would have to truly twist the meaning of the CATO statement.

Yes, citizens can borrow weapons if they are trained and if they are travelling to a dangerous area. They may not keep firearms in their own homes...

The entire region is a dangerous area. As to the phrase "in their own homes", I refer the right honorable gentleman to my previous statement.
