. The Ten Commandments are separate from all other laws from God. They were instituted at Creation. The ceremonial laws and handwashing and other ordinances were to keep the Jews separate from the other nations and to impress them with purity. The sacrificial system was to show how sin was to be eliminated. They all had a reason for existence but when Jesus came and gave his sacrifice, there were abolished.
