Excellent read.
Ecclesiastes 5:15. “Be not ignorant of any thing, in a great matter or a small.”
The second half of Romans 1 describes the mechanism for decline and fall. Which follows from violating the Ten Commandments and the results can be clearly seen in the events of the Old Testament.
There is a reason the First Commandment is: You shall not have any other Gods before me.
In the Old Testment God destroys evil by wiping out entire cities and populations that are un-redeemable. The Bible records God’s works - he does not spare the innocent when the Evil has infected a group of people - HAMAS and IRAN spit in God’s eyes with their teaching of their young to hate and murder Jews and their enemy of the day.
Christians can point to the NT, but Jesus is only in the business of saving souls, not lives in this life;)
People who claim the Palestinians’ are innocent do not understand how God deals with Evil.
Revelation’s is NT version of God’s destruction of the innocent to destroy evil.
Say it ain’t so, Joe;)
What is not mentioned are the three revolts against Roman rule. The last one cut down the Jewish population quite significantly.
