By the way, we must be discerning about Ellen G White. Not everything that she wrote, was false. Her plan of salvation, however, is false, including the false doctrine of the investigative judgment. That might be the most egregiously false doctrine of all. It might be analogous to the Catholic purgatory. In other words, to them, Jesus was not able to pay for the sins of mankind, but our works are included. That is false doctrine. The SDA Jesus, is not the Jesus of the Bible.
If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times. It’s not enough to have faith in Jesus. We must have faith in the RIGHT Jesus. The RIGHT Jesus is NOT in the SDA religion.
I don’t know for sure, but I seriously question whether there is even one truly saved SDA member. I think it is one of the most pernicious cults out there.

That’s how they work so well. In any cult a person may get a large percentage of truth. It’s the small percentage of false teaching that gets them far away from the Real Christ Jesus.

By the way, we must be discerning about Ellen G White. Not everything that she wrote, was false. The worst deceptions are those that mix lies with just enough Truth to sucker people in.
Satan knows, as everyone does, that 100% flat out lies will not effective. People will see through it.
So cults add just enough Jesus and Christian lingo as window dressings to give legitimacy to their claims.
