Ok. That is your opinion. It is not words of Jesus in the Bible.

Jesus clearly stated that he was giving us in Body and Blood to eat and drink. Jesus said “my flesh is true food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.” “ I am the bread of life.”

You do not accept the command of Jesus that is necessary for our salvation.

I hope that you find peace and can accept the true meaning of God’s words.

Adsum, it is not my opinion, it is Scripture. God gave us the prohibition against the consumption of blood, both in the OT and in the NT. You cannot escape this fact and, if you’re honest, you must admit the glaring contradiction between what is done by Catholicism and what God says we are to do. Consumption of blood is clearly prohibited in the New Testament. Do you contend that it is not? Please answer this question. You tell me that you hope that I can accept the true meaning of God’s words. I do: blood is forbidden. Do you really want to say otherwise?

A command from Jesus, son of God would overturn any previous restriction as it pertains to the Body and Blood of Jesus.

Do you consider the Body and Blood of Jesus the same as blood offerings to idols?

It is Jesus (God) that tells us to eat His Body and drink His Blood four times in John 6. Jesus said “the words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and life.”Jesus established the Sacrament of the Eucharist at the Last Supper and ordained His Apostles and their successor to continue this Sacrament in His memory.

I realize that most protestants have learned over their life time the protestant beliefs of their denomination and it is hard to change, however have they truly examined and searched for God’s Truth.

To me, the way of the world is GroupThink so that everyone expresses the same viewpoint.

While we live in this world and encounter the difficulties, our most important task is to find eternal life with God in Heaven. So we should do everything in our power (choice) with God’s help to achieve that goal.

Jesus told us His Body is true food, indeed, and His Blood is true drink, indeed.

Jesus told us He would be with us until the end of time. He is with us in the Sacrament of the Eucharist and the consecrated hosts are in the Tabernacle throughout the world in Catholic churches.

You do realize that protestant churches can not give anyone the Eucharist (Christ’s Real Presence of His Body and Blood)? Perhaps it is in their financial interest to deny the Eucharist in order to retain members? Do you respect a church that does not preach God’s Truth?

Why do you believe the protestant key components of faith that are not God’s Truth or even in the Bible? Who taught you? No one on FR has proved that some protestants beliefs are even Biblical.

1. Sola Scriptura
2. Sola Fides
3. Once saved, always saved
4. That the Eucharist is not the Real Presence of Jesus (Body and Soul - Human and Divine)
5. Some protestant churches endorse and accept sin. Such as abortion, same-sex marriage, contraceptives,
6. That Jesus gave the Catholic church the authority to bind and loose, forgive sins, teach, preach and baptize with the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. I am not aware that protestant churches have this authority as everyone is free to make their own interpretation of the Bible.
7. They deny the authority given to the Apostles and their successors to forgive sins. (Sacrament of Confession).

I hope you truly listen to God and seek His Truth for your salvation.

Peace.
