Hm. That is apparently what happened to Pentecostal Bible teacher Derek Prince (1963, Seattle), Southern Baptist pastor Frank Hammond (1966/7, Dallas), Southern Baptist pastor Win Worley (Chicago, 1970), and Baptist pastor Steve Bell (Dallas area, 1980s).

These men all knew each other and occasionally worked together. All wrote upon the ministry of casting out of evil spirits. Some of the titles are: “Diary of an Exorcist”, “Pigs in the Parlour” and “They Shall Expel Demons”.

Steve Bell (Micah Stephen Bell) is still actively ministering and providing deliverance at Key Ministries, Euless, TX (Dallas)

Recommended.

There were 5 of us who did similar work in the early 1990’s. I’m the only one still alive.

One of the 5 was Dr. Irene Hickman. We were working together when a very strong demonic spirit took over her assistant and tried to kill me. The demon explained that was his mission and he would be successful as I was ruining their plans.

I gave Irene the tape recording of the session and she put a transcript (edited for all the growling and screams) in her book on spirit de-possession.

I would never do this work in front of a group. Too dangerous for bystanders.

You can count on your deepest darkest secret and worst fear being shouted out at you to back you off.

Just know that God Lives us unconditionally, despite our sins.

8n fact, God tends to pick the biggest sinners for His most important work.

Moses, and Saul (Paul) were murderers. Peter denied Jesus and cut off the slave’s ear.....

The clearest, non-scholarly books I have read, are by the late Lester Sumrall. Written on a level anyone can understand, his books are short, concise, and clear on the subject, and consist mainly of his experiences. Very interesting, quick reads. He became an acolyte of Smith Wigglesworth, another great man of faith who had a deliverance ministry.
