There is nothing free about this gift, it has simply already been paid for. The price paid for us was a very heavy price. Yes Jesus Christ paid the price for us. He does not give it to us for free, He demands a payment of our faith, our forsaking of sin and repentance for the wrongs we have done. We must then after all that follow Him in these things until the end of our lives.
I started really seeing Psalm 2 when the democrats voted God out of the party. Then there are the people who believe “science, be it Darwinism, limate change and now virology...oh and abortion, babies are just cells until age two or so?
I can see how these people will scream at God and demand to be left alone blaming it all on Him. They’ve been screaming at God for fifty years now, all His fault, not the government rules and laws.
