Will UFOs Be Used to Explain Away the Rapture?
RR & christianprophecy.org ^ | 8/2/2020 | Interview w/Billy Crone

Posted on 08/02/2020 4:43:58 PM PDT by Roman_War_Criminal

To answer this question, we invited Billy Crone, the senior pastor of Sunrise Baptist Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, and founder of Get A Life! Ministries, to our television program Christ in Prophecy. Billy covered a number of sensationalist Bible prophecy topics such as UFOs and the Nephilim.

Aliens Unmasked

Nathan Jones: Billy, when it comes to sensationalist Bible prophecy, often we’re talking about UFOs. You’ve done a lot of research into UFOs. Can you explain why you approach UFOs so often in your teachings?

Billy Crone: UFOs were part of my background when I was involved in the occult and New Age before I became saved. In the New Age, one of the big subjects is UFOs and the lie that is going on about them. Quite a lot of sensationalism and deception has been going on with that topic. It’s a topic that we the Church do need to get equipped on because the Scriptures, I believe, give us the answer.

Whether we accept it or not, our world is enthralled with the topic of UFOs and aliens. Right now, just looking at current statistics in the United States of America, more people believe in the existence of UFOs and aliens than they do in the existence of God. More people in the United States of America believe that aliens have visited planet Earth than Jesus is the Son of God.

So many people are obsessed with UFO-ology, because Hollywood has been promoting it. The lie of Evolution sets the foundation for this study. UFO-ology has become the new religion of the 21st Century in our own country. Its adherents believe that aliens are going to save them, not God.

We need to deal with this new religion because our world is being led astray. Plus, the Scriptures say we are to give a defense for the hope that lies within us.

From a biblical perspective, number one, you know that there is something deceptive going on because the very nature and the whole premise of UFOs is built on a lie. It is called the lie of Evolution. When these aliens are supposedly going to show up, they’re expected to say, “We’re a higher, evolved race.”

Stop right there! Evolved? Wait a second. Evolved equals Evolution. Well, Evolution is not true. We were created by God! We didn’t come from the goo, to the zoo, to me and you. No, we came from God, right?

But, the whole alien premise, their whole identity when they supposedly show up on the scene, is a lie. Now, go back to the Scriptures. In John 8, what does Jesus say? “Satan is not only a murderer, and he’s been one since the beginning, he’s a liar, and he’s the father of all lies.” The alien’s claim to evolutionary superiority tells you right out of the gate that you are being deceived.

The other lie aliens are supposed to make, too, is they’ll claim, “We are here to give you some incredible messages, and we’ve come all the way across the universe to give you this important information.” When you look at what they are “sharing,” it’s all about debunking Jesus, the Bible, God, and salvation. These supposed alien visitors claim there is no such thing as sin. They say that we need to combine into a one-world religion and a one-world government. I kid you not! They claim humanity needs to follow a one-world ruler, or we are going to be destroyed. They say that we need to worship Mother Earth.

These alien visitors actually have the audacity to say that Satan is a good guy who has come to free us! Now, excuse me, that is demonic, that is a deception, that is a lie.

Then they say, in order to receive these messages, you have to let them take over a person’s vocal cords, and speak through people with their messages. Stop right there! These aliens are supposed to be this highly evolved, technologically advanced race, much more scientific than we are, for that’s how they supposedly traveled here across the cosmos, right? But then, they cannot communicate to us by just sending a text message or calling us on the phone? I’ll even take an old handwritten letter. Why do they have to take over people’s vocal cords and speak through them?

Folks, that’s demonic possession. That’s exactly what demons do!

I believe the bulk of UFO sightings can be explained by natural experiences. But then, there’s an element that we need to take a look at closely to see what is going on there. Secular guys are confirming that there is one way to get rid of these aliens 100% of the time. When you command them in the name of Jesus Christ to flee, they flee instantly!

One lady I interviewed in Oregon who had this encounter said when she did that, not only did the “aliens” flee out of there, they fled out of there so fast they were tripping over each other. Now, wait a second; who flees in the name of Jesus? That’d be a demon. They didn’t flee due to the name of Mohammed, or Buddha, or Confucius. No, just the name of Jesus Christ.

UFOs to Explain the Rapture

Billy Crone: UFO-ology is leading to the last day’s deception. In order to fall for the lie of UFOs, you first have to fall for the lie of Evolution. This tells you how slowly and methodically the Enemy has been setting up the planet for this great deception. He started back in the 1850’s with Charles Darwin who has now permeated the planet with his Theory of Evolution.

Secondly, Evolution gets some help from Hollywood. They glamorize aliens and UFOs. Everybody then “knows” there must be real live aliens out there. As a matter of fact, you’re considered a wacko for not believing that aliens must be real. Folks, science fiction is leading society to somewhere.

I remember back before I was saved and was immersed in the New Age. I received these so-called “channeled messages” from supposed space aliens. Now that I’m saved, I know that was all demonic. In my documentary, I actually quote these demons who are continually preparing the way to explain away the Rapture of the Church.

The Rapture of the Church is true. The Bible teaches about that soon- coming event. Put yourself, if you will, in the Enemy’s shoes. Soon there will be an event that will occur around the globe where millions of people from all across the planet instantaneously disappear, and they’ll specifically only be Christians. You just can’t spin that baby. You can’t hide that event. So, you better come up with some good excuse.

Think about how slowly and methodically the Enemy has been preparing their lie to explain away the Rapture. It started with Evolution back in the 1850s, and Hollywood has perpetuated it today. All somebody has to do right after the Rapture is stand up on the world scene, maybe somebody even like the pope, and try to reassure people. He may say, “Hey, people! I just want you to know you were right all along. The government has been hiding this truth from you. UFOs and aliens are real. See, that’s why all of these people have disappeared. It was aliens. They beamed all of those Christians up to their ships.”

Nathan Jones: Isn’t that a central tenant of New Age teaching, that when Maitreya returns, after Christians have been taken off this planet, that humanity can at last evolve to their true states without those accursed Christians holding people back?

Billy Crone: That is another one of Satan’s lies. It’s very convenient, I dare say. Think about how much UFOs have permeated the mindset of people. They are going to fall for that excuse for the Rapture lickety-split.

They’ll actually spin the fact that the world has been left behind into a seemingly good thing. Jesus said the seven-year Tribulation will be the worse time in the history of mankind. But, no, these deceivers will spin that being left behind was a blessing. “You are a chosen one. Now you get to be a part of the Age of Utopia as we rebuild the planet in a wonderful time of peace.”

How crazy! After all, the event that starts the seven-year Tribulation will be the Antichrist. As Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 6:1 reveal, this White Horse Rider initiates a false peace. The people will go, “This is true. Look! He made a deal in the Middle East that nobody could do. How amazing! We’ve at last got peace on our planet. Everybody has come together, even religion and government. How amazing! How wonderful!” Nope! You just found yourself left behind in the seven-year Tribulation. It wasn’t UFOs that sucked those people up. That was Jesus Christ coming back to collect His Bride.

Especially in a time of crisis and on such a massive scale, human nature gravitates toward any lame excuse just to maintain one’s sanity. Aliens are not a lame excuse for the Rapture because, with this one, the world is ripe to fall for it.

Nathan Jones: Some people theorize that the Antichrist might arrive claiming that he is an alien, sort of like Superman. I don’t know where they get that, but do you think they may be correct?

Billy Crone: Well, sure. Why not? You’ve got some people who say the Antichrist will be a Muslim. Where in the Bible are they reading that one? The origins of the Antichrist, unfortunately, is often a topic people sensationalize. In doing so, they lead people astray from the biblical teaching. Such a theory may warrant our attention, but stick purely with the Bible.

I’m convinced this fascination with UFOs provides us a great opportunity to witness to the lost. The lost are enthralled with UFOs and aliens, and to me, it provides a fantastic opportunity to share the Gospel with them.

The greater danger will be the deception and strong delusion that comes BEFORE the rapture.

Christ warned His disciples, and us indirectly, not to be deceived in the last days because deception will be a tremendous danger, even for the “elect”.

I think the precursor to this deception is the idea that Christians will escape tribulation and will not face the antichrist. I think when he and it arrive, many Christians will become disillusioned and “fall away”.

God will protect His elect through the time of tribulation, but we need to remain faithful now, through our present trials. Many Christians are already experiencing “great tribulation” even if it is not the final, worldwide one yet.

Joel Rosenberg has a novel out Gog/Magog (I forgot the name) and in it, Raptured Saints are included in the Ezekiel 38/39 War fatality list. About 1 billion +.

We disagree.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 says this:

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

What this post and all discussions I have read/heard ignores that God says He will come with the sound of a trumpet; announcing His arrival. Everyone will know what has happened, no one will be wondering why the Christians have disappeared. Saying aliens have captures them will be obviously wrong.

That’s an interesting take I never thought of before.

I had heard that before, that we might leave dead bodies behind. It’s interesting. It’s also possible, that by the time the rapture happens, that true believers may be so marginalized, that scarcely anyone will notice. 😁

Several notes on that post:

*Yes you are correct about the “sound of the trumpet”. See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

*Some teachers think only believers will hear the sound, others think everybody will.

*There is also a great delusion associated with the disappearing of Christians worldwide. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, Romans 1:18-32, 2 Peter 3:9

The enemies of God will need some sort of answer to feed the masses something regarding such a massive disappearance of people. It’s interesting that New Age Mystics and diviners of witchcraft all have been clamoring about a massive gathering of “throwbacks” to be re-educated by some other worldly being for decades.

A former Prophecy Teacher attended one such New Age Conference in the early 90’s regarding “future trends and happenings”. He asked point blank of that disappearance of so many people: Will they all commit suicide?
The speaker emphatically stated without hesitation: No, not at all.

They’ve been planning to deceive for such a scenario for decades, if not centuries.

True. And Paul was telling the Thessalonians something he had already taught them and that they knew. This indicates it was not a mystery, such as the aspect of the rapture whereby those believers who are still alive when Christ comes again will be transformed and given new bodies without dying. If this passage was about the Holy Spirit being taken out, there would be other biblical support, but it is lacking. A better understanding of it is that Paul is speaking about his exegetical exposition of Daniel (which he had taught them in person), which is the primary source we have for the final seven years before Christ’s kingdom is set up on earth. Daniel 12 indicates that it is Michael the archangel who is in charge of protecting Israel and will “stand up” at the exact time the abomination of desolation occurs, Satan is cast out of Heaven (by Michael), and antichrist is revealed as an impostor seeking to destroy Israel and followers of Christ. The restrainer is Michael.

Further, this same passage (2 Thessalonians 2) specifically says the Day of the Lord come only AFTER the restrainer quits restraining and the antichrist is revealed. This places the Day of the Lord distinctly AFTER the abomination of desolation, the seventieth week midpoint, and the other events I described above.

As I’ve indicated elsewhere, the sign of the sun and moon being darkened (simultaneous solar and lunar eclipse) will mark the end of the Great Tribulation but the imminence of the Day of the Lord. The rapture will also be imminent after we see this sign. It will be accompanied by destructive asteroids. Antichrist and his mark-wearing minions will be forced to take a break from their horrific and diabolical persecution of Christians to retreat underground in terror because they will also know the Day of Wrath has finally come. But those of us who live through these days will then “look up for [our] redemption draws near.”

Not trying to dispel your post with a cheap copy/paste, but this is pretty close to how I see it.

https://www.gotquestions.org/restrainer.html

There is one major problem I have with your view, and it goes to Revelation 7, specifically 7:9-14

...........................................
“After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation to our God,

who sits on the throne,

and to the Lamb!”

11 And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. And they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

13 Then one of the elders addressed me: “These in white robes,” he asked, “who are they, and where have they come from?”

14“Sir,” I answered, “you know.”

So he replied, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
............................................

I have a problem with the fact that The Apostle John doesn’t have a clue as to who those people are that came out of the Great Tribulation. He literally can’t identify them. Now if they were the Born Again Church, which he is a member of, he’d easily be able to do that - but here he can’t. As if they are another group of God’s people altogether different and distinct from all others in history. Just like Israel, & just like the Church.

There also comes into question the way God focuses on His people throughout history. For most of history, He kept His eyes and focus on Israel. For the past 2,000 years, it’s been the Church. He still has 7 years due to Israel or 1 week. IMHO, that week will begin at the beginning of the “covenant with many” (Daniel 9:27).

To see this issue more deepky one needs to have somewhat of an understanding on 'coordinate systems of reality. We sense four variables of space and time (three of space and one of time). In actuality, because of the limitations of sensing, we actually sense what has already occurred; we sense past events and the mechanism interface between body (brain) and soul fabricates a virtual present for our reasoning.

We have a soul which is not bound to our current 4D coordinate system but is interfacing with it to ride along in spacetime with a physical body. Chuck Missler used to say that our body is hardware but our soul is software, like what is imprinted on a floppy disc, the disc being the hardware of body and the data being the software soul or behavior mechanism.

This was an interesting analogy but not quite correct. The body is more akin to the machine that reads the data imprinted on the disc, the disc being the soul and the body the reader of the data on the disc. Missler was correct though in saying if I look at you, the physical you, I see but do not see the real you, the behavior mechanism that is your soul.

This causes our soul to have sensory limitations, but the soul is real and has space and time reality. The spirit is likewise interfacing with the soul. Unless one is born again/born from above/made alive in the spirit the natural spirit state of those descended from Adam is a state of deadness toward righteousness.

When one is born again, as Jesus told Nicodemus needs be to see the Kingdom of God, it is GOD Who separates the soul and spirit (the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, able to separate soul and spirit). Thereafter it is God's Seed that abides in the newborn spirit, while the dying body with soul knowing only how to sin continues existing.

Regarding the Rapture ('harpadzo' in the Greek) or Departure --as harpadzo was translated in the first English versions from the Greek-- The Presence of God's 'seed' (read Holy Spirit earnest of our inheritance) is the creation point/moment of God creating a new body and behavior mechanism for each born again member of the Body of Christ ('body of' as in the collective student body of a particular college, for instance).

God does miracles; Angels use technology involving higher coordinate systems, and there are bad Angels and Good Angels. The Departure snatching away is a great miraculous moment, a moment of God creating new bodies for all in Christ, past or present.

There is physical reality we cannot now sense, as one more variable of space is included there or one more variable of time is in that 'other coordinate system'. We can be assured of this 'other coordinate reality' if We believe the Bible is True, and the Book of Daniel was truth (Jesus did refer to that Book). In the fifth chapter of Daniel we read of an interesting surreal event, where a hand appeared from some other where/when and wrote upon the wall of palace party central, Babylon. The hand was part of a real, physical being existing in a different where/when that the palace, but was reaching into the coordinate system of the palace to write upon the wall.

The presence of God in the spirit of the members of the Body of Christ will resonate with the Loud Command, and the transformation of the physical 4D body will instantly (as in field equations) be transformed into a great coordinate system PHYSICAL reality.

Did you know that a Last Trumpet’ sounded signaling the ‘move ‘em out’ for the tribes in the wilderness? Cab you see how Paul probably taught his Gentile converts the meaning of the wilderness wanderings and deliverance?

That is a complicated way to look at it and more complicated to explain to an average interested person.

i have a son who studied both Hebrew and Greek in college at the same time.. he has a brain that records.. he also knows the Bible.. he knows the meaning of what was said and translated into English. he is also a lawyer.

i have another son.. equally as astute and as bright.. but music instead of Bible.. tho he knows the Bible and can tell anyone what it says.. but he says there are inconsistencies throughout.

no amount of explaining convinced son #2 of the Bible absolute truth.. “it was written by man”.

Then comes sickness in #2 son and one night he had a vision. Jesus visited my son.
I wont go into all he saw.. but it was a miracle and the Holy Spirit did in 5 min what all the talk did not do. #2 son became a thankful believer..

Simple... one glimpse...

” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed...”

I’ll go with Scripture which says all Christians will plucked into the air and changed.

“Not trying to dispel your post with a cheap copy/paste, but this is pretty close to how I see it. https://www.gotquestions.org/restrainer.html";

I read article at your link. Like every claim I’ve ever seen attributing that the restrainer is the Holy Spirit, there is no exegetical reason. The passage is treated the way cults use random passages as proof texts. This does not automatically mean it or you are incorrect, but I do insist on more than anecdotal evidence to support such a critical and pivotal interpretation.

The idea that the restrainer is Michael is straight from scripture. The abomination of desolation was known to Paul by reading Daniel and also the teachings of Christ, who also cited Daniel and admonished a careful reading of Daniel to understand coming events such as this. It is within this specific context we find angels fighting with principalities of Satan’s kingdom, culminating with Michael’s actions triggering the onset of the Great Tribulation. See Daniel 12... “at that time” which is unequivocally the exact time of the abomination of desolation Paul is referring to in 2 Thessalonians. Further, Revelation indicates exactly where Michael is and what he is doing at this exact moment in chapter 12 of that book.

Make no mistake. God is going to give Michael the command to evict Satan and his angels from Heaven. Michael and his angels will do so. It is only when this event occurs in Heaven, that antichrist will become Satanically driven to set up his throne in the temple to receive the worship of the world.

If Satan had the power, he would destroy Israel and the Church right now. He does not and cannot. However, he will be permitted to operate through antichrist during the second three-and-a-half years of Daniel’s seventieth week. He will only be allowed to do this when Michael does his part. The timing is NOT up to the Devil but is up to God.

“I have a problem with the fact that The Apostle John doesn’t have a clue as to who those people are that came out of the Great Tribulation. He literally can’t identify them. Now if they were the Born Again Church, which he is a member of, he’d easily be able to do that - but here he can’t.”

This is a highly speculative assertion. John was given a mystical vision. There are many things that are not obvious and require explanation. Several had to be explained to John. If you or I saw a great multitude of last-generation Christians, we would not automatically know who they were without any explanation. If I saw a large gathering of Christians in choir uniforms at a football stadium, I could only speculate who they were. The interaction with John was more for our benefit. We get to have who they were explained to us, along with John. These are the last generation of Christians who are alive during the Great Tribulation. We are not told how they get to Heaven. They just suddenly appear. It is possible they all died due to the terrible things that happened on the earth, such as famine, war, and plague. It is possible they were all martyred. But it is also possible they were raptured. While the passage does not answer this question, it is consistent with the sequence of events I’ve listed elsewhere. This is the section of Revelation where the seals are ending and the trumpet and bowl judgments are about to begin. It is, what I believe to be, one section where there is a transition from events of the Great Tribulation into the Day of Wrath.

“There also comes into question the way God focuses on His people throughout history. For most of history, He kept His eyes and focus on Israel. For the past 2,000 years, it’s been the Church. He still has 7 years due to Israel or 1 week. IMHO, that week will begin at the beginning of the ‘covenant with many’ (Daniel 9:27).”

I agree. God’s unique dealing with Israel as His earthly people, and His everlasting, unchanging covenant with the elect remnant of Israel is essential to unravel the meaning of end times prophecies. But it is a case where our eschatological views can and do influence our dispensational views. I do not believe in replacement theology. I believe though that there is an overlap of the Church and Israel because some people are members of both groups. That is certain. The apostles were.

The Church began at Pentecost around 33 AD. But the temple existed, and the apostles continued participating in temple activities, until 70 AD. The apostles were fully part of the Church but were also citizens of Israel. There can easily be overlap between God working in Israel and the Church in the last days at the same time. One crucial element has to do with when “all Israel” repents and is saved. I argue that this cannot occur at the onset of Daniel’s seventieth week. In fact, that is one of the main purposes of this week—to bring Israel to national repentance. At first they will be deceived by antichrist, but later they will “look on Him whom they have pierced” and repent. Doesn’t the sealing of the 144,000 provide compelling evidence that this is when that national repentance occurs?

Also, consider this. How does such an incredibly large multitude of faithful followers of Christ emerge during a time of universal deception, strong delusion, persecution, trials, and the supposed removal of the Holy Spirit from the earth? And how can these people believe, as Paul asked in Romans 10, without a preacher? If ALL of the preachers are to be raptured out, how are 144,000 Jews converted? How are uncountable multitudes of Gentiles (and probably Jews as well) also converted and received into Heaven?
