Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP/VICE PRESIDENT MIKE PENCE and AMERICA: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

Praying for President Trump and his administration and family:

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, we know our President and the believing members of his administration have cried to you in times of weakness and exhaustion. We agree with the psalmist when we say, "Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of their weeping." The Lord has heard their supplication; the Lord receives their prayers. Let all their enemies be ashamed and sorely troubled; let them turn back and be put to shame suddenly. (Ps. 6:8-10)

O Lord my God, in You they take refuge and put their trust; save them from all those who pursue and persecute them, and deliver them,

O Lord my God, if there is unconfessed sin in their lives, if there is wrong in their hands, If they have paid back with evil him who was at peace with them or without cause have robbed him who was their enemy, we ask Your Holy Spirit to encourage them to confess and receive Your faithfulness to forgive by the blood of Jesus.

Arise, O Lord, in Your anger; lift up Yourself against the rage of their enemies; and awake [and stir up] for them the justice and vindication [that] You have commanded.

The Lord judges the people; judge them, O Lord, and do them justice according to the righteousness that they get from Jesus.

Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the uncompromisingly] righteous [those upright and in harmony with You]; for You, Who try the hearts and emotions and thinking powers, are a righteous God. Their defense and shield depend on You.

Behold, [the wicked man] conceives iniquity and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies. He made a pit and hollowed it out and has fallen into the hole which he made [before the trap was completed]. His mischief shall fall back in return upon his own head, and his violence come down [with the loose dirt] upon his own scalp.

We will give to the Lord the thanks due to His rightness and justice, and we will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. (Ps. 7:1, 3,4, 6, 8-11, 14-17)

FATHER, we have not lost Faith. We continue to pray that You will see us safely through this dark maze, led by a chosen leader who speaks Your Name and wears AMERICA with pride.

We pray you keep him and his from all harm and instruct him, giving him direction.

NOTE: just found out that the word QUARANTINE comes from the Latin word for "40" ...

The connection between quaranine, 40, and Lent The word “quarantine” is from the Italian word “quaranta” which means forty.  The practice of quarantine originated long before people understood it medically.  And they picked forty days not because of any medical reason, but a biblical one.  In the Bible, forty is often associated with purification: 40 days and nights of rain for Noah’s flood, 40 years in the wilderness for God’s people before entering the promised land, Jesus’ 40 day fast before He began His ministry, and of course, these have morphed into our present-day seaon of 40 days of Lent! So whether people realize it or not, a quarantine has to do with Lent and forty days of purification.

Praying for discernment within the Body of Christ. That GOD govern our perspective of this crisis. That we judge all things rightly. Not on the media's terms, not on politicians' terms, not on science's terms, but on GOD's alone. May the HOLY SPIRIT guide our prayers and priorities.

Praying for the aged and infirmed especially those who live in nursing homes. Praying that the church do more to care for the elderly among us, with or without a pandemic in our midst.

Praying against the anti-life, euthanizing, life-rationing, demonic forces at work in the official policies of hospitals here and around the world -- as more seek to dismantle the hippocratic oath to do no harm and to save life at any cost.

“Forty” occurs either 157 or 158 times in the Bible; in conjunction with other numbers, such as forty and five thousand.

also note: Moses was on the mountain with God 40 days and 40 nights. David reigned over Israel 40 years. Solomon 40 years. Joash reigned 40 years. Jesus was in the wilderness 40 days. A generation is 40 years. This year is 400 years, or ten generations, since the Jamestown landing in 1620. Thank you for mentioning forty.
