Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed One. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the One who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger He rebukes them, terrifying them with His fierce fury (Psalm 2:1-4)
FATHER GOD,
We rejoice in this holy season to thank You for Your blessings and provision and celebrate the birth of JESUS CHRIST. Thank You for Your great love for us and sending the Son to be the SAVIOR and the LIGHT of the world.
You told us.
The hearts of people love their darkness more than the Light, because they want the darkness to conceal their evil. So the wicked hate the Light and try to hide from it, for their lives are fully exposed in the Light. But those who love the truth will come out into the Light and welcome its exposure, for the Light will reveal that their fruitful works were produced by God (John 19b-21).
You warned us.
“Just remember, when the unbelieving world hates you, they first hated Me. If you were to give your allegiance to the world, they would love and welcome you as one of their own. But because you won’t align yourself with the values of this world, they will hate you. I have chosen you and taken you out of the world to be mine. They will treat you this way because you are mine,[ and they don’t know the One who sent Me(John 15:18-19).
You equipped and commissioned us.
“And I will send you the Divine Encourager, the HOLY SPIRIT, from the very presence of my Father. He will come to you, the Spirit of Truth, emanating from the Father, and He will speak to you about Me. And you will tell everyone the truth about Me….” (John 15:26-27) He will expose sin and prove that the world is wrong about God’s righteousness and his judgments. (John 16:8).
You Promised us:
Everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” (John 16:33.)
As we celebrate the birth of CHRIST, fill us with faith, courage and a holy boldness to proclaim the GOOD NEWS! Open our eyes to see beneath the depravity of our enemies, that they are lost and destined to an eternity in help. Teach us to be mature ministers who correctly explains the Word of Truth. Instill in us a Supernatural zeal and love for You that overcome shyness, rejection, or humiliation. May we be used as Your instruments to shine the light of truth in a dark world.
Bless and protect President Trump and members of his administration. Fill them with Your SPIRIT. Bestow upon them every Spiritual gift that is needed to govern this nation. Foil the plans of their enemies and bring them to justice. Bless and protect First Lady Melania. May this lovely, God-fearing woman and family feel Your love, rest, and peace and be shielded from the barrage of fiery darts that are aimed toward them.
Bless and protect our military, the border patrol, ICE agents, and first responders. Give them courage to defend our nation from the invasion and enemies throughout the world.
Have mercy on America, LORD. Protect from our enemies and man-made and natural disasters. Let nothing keep our nation from shining the light of Truth. Our hope is in You. Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD.
