The scripture of the Bible is in the “Navy Hymn” and “Eternal Father Strong to Save”.... too often being played at Navy funerals. You BET it “passes regulatory and Constitutional muster”. Not the pagan zoomies of the Air Force apparently.
Just want to say, not all us atheists are like this. My father served in the Canadian Navy for 35 years, and when he died (just a few years after retiring at age 52), we had a Navy chaplain who did a reading at the service, and we all joined in the singing of “Eternal Father Strong to Save”, which I’ve always found a very touching hymn. Oh, my father was also an atheist, but respected the faithful, as do I.
