Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
The Rodeo is more than just a "Cowboy Show" or a sports event. In the American West, the skills of the Cowboy were essential to the cattle industry, as the meat-production plants were in the city, and the cattle were grazing on vast prairies. The Rodeo show the skill, endurance, and courage it took to do this very dangerous job.
In handling huge, strong, and powerful bulls, a Cowboy might get thrown to the ground. That is where the "rodeo clown" comes in. His job is to distract the bull from the cowboy. In such a maneuver, both the cowboy and the clown can be killed by being gored by the bull's horns.
For millenia, the horns of a bull represent POWER. But, drinking vessels and musical instruments can also be made from a horn. The "Horn of My Salvation" is a Name given to God. It means Power, Sustenance, and even something else...the Ram that was caught in the thicket (by its horns) that was offered by Abraham in place of Isaac. "God Himself" provided the Sacrifice, and thus saved Isaac.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
God Bless America!

Great lesson, left that other site
My hometown is Roundup, Montana and I’ve seen many rodeos - as you can imagine. So this has a special meaning to me.
Joining in prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem.
