The Venezuelan Episcopal Conference (CEV) has publicly invoked the intercession of the Virgin Mary to free the nation from the claws of communism, in a clear reference to the regime of President Nicolás Maduro.
Blessed Virgin, Mother of Coromoto, heavenly Patron of Venezuela, free our country from the claws of communism and socialism, the CEV posted on Twitter this Sunday, complete with an image of Santa Maria and a Venezuelan flag.

Any Catholic can use their own personal interpretation of Scripture for understanding. Right? You know, the very thing we non-Catholics are continually being told we cannot depend on?
When someone tells me I can't be my own pope, and interpret scripture, as the Holy Spirit tells me I can, I just smile, and keep on being my own pope. 🙏🇵🇭👍

And time and time again you reject out of hand what God's word says.
I did the same when I was a Catholic, so I understand. Things are different now. 😄😀😂 When my Catholic mother and I discuss certain doctrinal differences, I can show her why what she has been taught isn't Biblical. What usually happens is she will say, "Well that's just what we believe.". She refuses to trust what her own eyes see written. But what I think the REAL issue is - like as happened in many of our lives - to reject what Catholicism teaches about anything would mean they were wrong about something and could be wrong about other things, as well. Their foundation is the sinking sand of an organization rather than Jesus Christ. It's a scary place for many.

Roman Catholics have told us on these threads that all Tradition is found in Scripture or will not contradict Scripture. And that is essentially what sola Scriptura means! It doesn't condemn tradition or reject it out of hand, but makes it subordinate to the Divinely-inspired word of God.

I didn't get anywhere with my Catholic family either. My one sister, was vehemently against me leaving the OTC. Over the years, she saw a change in me, that she could not explain, or ignore. Now, my sister, is one of the most Godly women I know. Even though I am in the Philippines, we keep in touch, regularly on Viber. 😁😁😀 Prsise God for Viber. 🤣😊👍

You are very judgmental to assume ire on my part. I’ve consistently shown concern for your immortal soul due to your belief and adoration of a sinful and dead woman.
Yet you have never shared your Catholic version of the Gospel. I understand that you may not be able to because unlike the Bible, Rome offers no clear path to salvation.
And of course, you’d have to deal with the problem of actually putting into words the fact that you believe “another Gospel” that Paul warned against.
So I understand your fear and reluctance in trying to witness of a salvation that as a catholic you are forbidden to even claim that you have.
But let that sit with you tonight, when you try and sleep. Others, including myself, have cried out to you to consider your soul. We’ve begged you to examine what these false dogmas portend.
But a word about our souls you have yet to speak.

“St Paul taught exactly that: that Sacred Tradition has the same authority whether oral or written:”
Your posts have slipped into the format:
1. Post facts
2. Take leap that facts do not prove, but assume it is true as your conclusion.
It doesn’t work that way FRiend.

Catholic and Orthodox don't go with Scripture ONLY, though -- Sola Scriptura--- because this is not a Biblical doctrine.
Revelation 22: (Berean Study Bible)
17 The Spirit and the bride say, Come! Let the one who hears say, Come! And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.
18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

You were referring to Mary
I wanted to show how Catholics pick out one quote woman unquote verse from Revelation and absolutely ignore the rest

Isn’t it good to have powerful top-down authority that quell ALL arguments about what scripture really means!

Very good point, as usual. And as usual, quite succinct.
