My wife can own a firearm, but I can't. She wanted a 9 MM, but I said no, it doesn't have enough stopping power. I said we should get a minimum of a 38, but I said a 357 magnum is better.
I went to the Shooting Gallery, in Vacaville, CA and was able to hold a Sig Sauer 44 magnum pistol. I don't remember what it was called, nor how many rounds are in the magazine, but when I picked it up, the magazine was not even in it, and I thought it was too heavy. I can't imagine trying to hold it, with a full magazine. Too darn heavy. If I ever got a 44 magnum, it would be a Dirty Harry type. "Do you feel lucky? Well, do you punk?" 😂 That one might even be too heavy, but that Sig was DEFINITELY too heavy.
