It seems to me that this can probably be shown to be untrue.

Consider this:

“The lifetime odds of dying from an accidental injury for a person born in 2013 were 1 in 20.”

Whereas accidents that we would be subject to would be different today than the pre-flood years, the vast majority would be similar. Ie; your cave collapsing on you, a tree falling on you, falling off a cliff, eating spoiled food, getting attacked by a Pit Bull, falling off your horse, drownings etc...

Bottom line, if you eliminated all cause of deaths except for accidental you still wouldn’t live to be 900 YO.

Anyone care to comment?

So this is likely untrue as well???

Mat 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Ya figure the disciples rolled the stone away and stole the body??? Or was there even a body???

There was once a funny argument in the paper by a local columnist. “Why are there always mosquitoes flying around in the rain in my backyard? They must be dodging the raindrops.”

I won’t go into all the theories why people wrote in that the bugs never got hit by raindrops, but it went on for DAYS. It ended abruptly when some smart fellow pointed out that you won’t see the ones who DID get hit.

All those accident victims who lived in Noah’s time never got written about. Have a nice weekend.

So you find the idea that God preordained a special destiny for these men and their descendants reasonable, but you don’t find it reasonable that God would protect them from accidents so they could fulfill that destiny?
