My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.
FATHER GOD,
You are CREATOR, REDEEMER, GREAT PHYSICIAN. Nothing is impossible for You!
Thank You for Your grace and mercy on Kelley’s healing. We boldly come before Your throne and humbly ask for You to heal her from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. May HOLY SPIRIT flow through Kelley and completely heal every organ, every cell to the glory of GOD!

Praying for Kelly. Good news is good news. And food can wait, as long as she can pass fluids that is good. That her O2 need went down is excellent. I’m so encouraged tonight. Prayers up for her total healing.

Still praying.
Yesterday was a mixed bag. Improvement in breathing on the ventilator but problems with her kidneys. Today was a pretty good day. They reduced the oxygen requirements down from 70% O2 to 40% and she was holding her own. A Kidney Specialist started her on a different regimen and her kidney function improved. But each good news seems to be accompanied by something bad.
Kelly has not been able to digest the food in her feeding tube. They brought in a gastroenterologist who advised us that there has been some bleeding and he mentioned that she might be suffering from “portal hypertension.” They are going to do a procedure tomorrow to see what is going on in her stomach and gastrointestinal tract. It might involve some kind of surgery. They won’t know until the look inside.
The good thing is that the doctors have all been saying stuff about how she is going to have to have all these major life changes “after she gets out”. Those last words are music to my ears. Kelly does, however, remain in very critical condition so again I thank all of you for your faithful prayers.
I will update you after her procedure tomorrow. Again, I covet your prayers.

I’ve been praying for Kelly today -— I’m taking this pretty personally. Thank you for the regular updates.
Father God,
We continue to lift Kelly up to You for healing and comfort. We thank You and praise Your Holy Name for all the positive advances You have put in Kelly’s recovery and the healing you have brought her. We ask You to continue to give the doctors treating he wisdom and clarity as You do your healing work through them.
We now ask Father that You bring healing to the intestinal issues Kelly is now suffering. We pray for continued progress and we give You thanks for carrying Kelly and her family through this trail and bringing them comfort. We pray that this trial strengthens their faith in You and draws them closer to You.
We ask all we pray in Jesus precious name. AMEN!
All too familiar with the ups and backs of the healing process. Prayers ongoing for all.
