My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.
Excellent!
What good news! Septicemia is such a scary DX, but sounds like all the right things are being done, and Kelly is responding. Prayers will continue, and hope you are able to see even more improvement each day. AND -—— hope you are taking care of YOU (((((hugs)))))
Heavenly Father, on this Lord’s Day we are empowered by Your Spirit moving among us in our churches around this country. So many have been praying for Kelly, and Your hand is expected, because we believe in You. This faith in you for healing tells us that faith in You for salvation is also real and will lead us into eternity through “the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony”.
Her healing reminds us of our salvation, and the salvation of those whom we have not yet reached in our own individual life but who you know already as having been reached by us. Oh, that we would understand the course before us and that we would run the race with real faith, for only faith in our lives will lead to those others being touched by You — and they will find You. We do not want to be among those who do not enter the promised land due to unbelief. Keep our Faith in You strong, Lord Jesus. Keep our faith in You real.
Lift Kelly to complete healing and thus we will see the real power of Faith for it’s in Your name we pray. Amen.
Praise God!
Lifting your daughter up in prayer. Thank you for the updates. It’s a blessing to join with believers in prayer and as we see the Lord’s hand working in our lives, on our deepest needs and concerns, ALL of us are uplifted and encouraged. We wonder why God allows suffering in our lives? This is why. Our faith and our bond of fellowship is strengthened and God is glorified. PTL!
Good update and I’ll continue the prayers.
That sounds real good. They’ll likely start trying to let her breath on her own soon. They can put the Ventilator into a Static Mode which keeps the lungs inflated but she will use her lungs herself rather than the Vent. That is usually done before they take a patient off completely. If you go into her room and it’s a lot quieter that is why. More prayers on the way.
Praise the Good Lord. Continued prayers.
Very good news, bless you and your family!
Remains in our prayers...your whole family. From our whole family.
Thanks for the update. Great news. Praise God!
God continue to Bless Y'all.

More prayers for healing. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Very good news! And looking forward to the next update.
Good grief. I initially confused you with PJBankard. God Knew who I meant.
Prayers ongoing.
Praise the Lord - this is great to hear! Continuing to pray for Kelly.
Posting to keep this thread in my ping list. Still praying for your daughter’daughter’s healing.
Thank God for the good news! I pray everything continues to improve for Kelly and big hug for you, P-Marlowe.
Prayer update:
Kelly is still in ICU and still on a ventilator. Her oxygen levels are up about 20% from yesterday and her WBC is down to about 16 which is about half where she was a few days ago. They are still wrestling with the blood infection and she has a few other problems that are slowing her recovery.
We are taking it day by day but up to this point every day has shown some improvement.
We are soooooo thankful for all the prayers.
Faith,
Marlowe
Some great news!
Still praying. Thanks for the update.
Happy to hear that Kelly is making baby steps, its going to be a long road but its looking like she is headed in the right direction. Continued prayers for Kelly that she heals fully from this ordeal. God Bless!!
