I agree. But what the Roman Julian and the Pope Gregory does is ignore one of His Appointed Days once a month.
And the answer of why are they ignoring the day is found in its solar based calendar.
They don’t use the moon but the Father does.
He has a day, once a month, called a New Moon Day. And it is not one of His 6 days or His Sabbath, according to Scripture.
In fact, one Scripture verse- Ezekiel 46:1- which hasn’t even happened yet, can really mess up ones view of time.
And the verse can be read over and over and people may not see ? The temple isn’t even there..
But we know He changes not and wouldn’t start changing things..
Ezekiel 46:1
Thus saith the Lord God; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the SIX working days; BUT on the sabbath it shall be opened, AND in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
I ask Judaism and Christianity and Muslims alike and anybody else:
What is a New Moon Day if it isn’t one of His 6 Working days or His Sabbath?
The world’s calendar only has 6 working days and 1 sabbath but this verse says there is another day that isn’t either..
And the new moon day or new Moons isn’t just mentioned there. A concordance can find them in a few places.
Always differentiated from the Sabbath and Feasts.
So what the heck is it?
He answered the question I had..
And that’s why 1 New Moon Day +6 Work Days +1 Sabbath is the start of every month in His Calendar.
It is a day that commemorates what was created before He spoke Light and called the Light Day.
It also represents, with study, the day the Word Made flesh was born- a day when the sun clothed the woman and moon was under her feet.
(That day was September 26 2014 and October 14 2015)
Now, that isn’t the ‘day’ but that sign occurs when the first sliver crescent new moon is seen the evening before at the 7th or 8th months right now.
It was day of Trumpets in 2014
It was the first day of His 8th month in 2015
It will be the Day of Trumpets in 2016
2000 years ago, it was the 1st day of His 6th month,a summer month.
Those signs have moved and keep moving in relation to how we see them..
There is one day sun worshippers and sun based calendars miss once a month. And it is the New Moon Day. It is also simply called in Scripture, the 1st day of the month.
And when we follow the template
1+6+1 we get
1- New Moon Day- Birth of the King
6 work
1 Sabbath (8th day)
The 8th day of each of His months is the weekly 7th Day Sabbath.
- He was circumcised on the 8th day of the 6th month- the weekly Sabbath (8th day from His Birth)
Then another 6+1 and we get
6 work(days 9-14)
1 Sabbath(day 15)
He laid His life down for our sins on the 6th work day of the 2nd week, the 14th day. It is finished.
He rested, even in death, on the weekly 7th day and annual Sabbath- 15th day
Then another 6+1 and we get:
1 work day- (day 16)
He rose from the grave on the first day of the week(16th day) as first Fruits

1 Sabbath(22nd Day)
- Israel observed this Sabbath, their first Sabbath, in the wilderness. After they arrived on the 15th and camped (a picture of His Sabbath)
He gave them Bread from heaven starting the next day -16th to the 21st, for 6 days.
- the 22nd day is also listed as the ‘8th’ day of the seven day Feast of Tabernacles which begins on the 15th day (with a Sabbath) and ends with a solemn rest on the 22nd (Sabbath)
Then another 6+1 and we get
6 work days (23rd-28 days)
1 Sabbath (29th)
The moon cycle of 29.5 days is not an accident. In fact, it could be argued at some point, maybe before the flood, the moon cycle was exactly 30 days for a 360 day yearly calendar where anyone could look up at the moon and see what day it was- that can’t happen right now..
But the moon plays a part in how the Creator keeps time. He taught it to Israel. His Son had every major life event set to it and Rome, the 4th Beast/Kingdom in Daniel 7 has changed times and laws to ignore it in timekeeping.
And it isn’t by the tip of the sword. It is subtle. And even people opposed to Rome on principle will not see what they have done to times and laws because its all we ever learned..
And all the religions and the major govts and businesses and schools and the world runs with it.

And one seemingly grade school question and it exposed the world as one big counterfeit for me.
And it allowed Him to show me things that I was blind to by my confirmity.
And it is all for His Glory!

BTW, Muslims,Jews,Christians don’t really have an incentive to change. Rome gives them each a Pope approved or Pope appointed Sabbath each week and they go with it.
And if people started counting like He taught Israel,they will see what the 30/60/100 in the Parable of the Sower have to do with the least and the greatest in the Kingdom.
And His Commandments take center stage.
It isn’t a small thing. It helps explain Revelation 13 and 14 today, in our time, and the battle that rages.. And false doctrines and teachings start falling fast..
That is what happens when Babylon falls in one’s life.
And Babylon is bigger than we think.
