If this is so; why is it STILL in English translations of the Bible?

It's not in most modern ones. Essentially the new king james and of course the king james. 1 John 5:7 doesn't appear in any ancient manuscripts. I know someone is going to try and pull out a history or trail of evidence about this verse appearing as early as 200 AD but even that chart is bogus on the early dates.
