It is the cross of Mithras that the catholics make across their hearts (Winter solstice, Summer solstice, Vernal equinox, Autumnal equinox)

I always thought the sign of the cross came from the "T" for Tammuz and I heard his symbol, is the evergreen tree. Has anyone ever wondered where the evergreen tree fits in here, like maybe the Christmas tree? I have a feeling there are other symbols out there as well.

Mithras is Roman, Tammuz is the Greek’s version.

A lower case t, tilted slightly to the left was the symbol of both. French cathedrals are speckled with them. Constantine was known for crossing his forearms to make the symbol.
