It is the cross of Mithras that the catholics make across their hearts (Winter solstice, Summer solstice, Vernal equinox, Autumnal equinox)I always thought the sign of the cross came from the "T" for Tammuz and I heard his symbol, is the evergreen tree. Has anyone ever wondered where the evergreen tree fits in here, like maybe the Christmas tree? I have a feeling there are other symbols out there as well.

Mithras is Roman, Tammuz is the Greek’s version.
A lower case t, tilted slightly to the left was the symbol of both. French cathedrals are speckled with them. Constantine was known for crossing his forearms to make the symbol.
