I doubt that new born babies are running amok trying to destroy the world...like kittens are.

Colofornian is trying to derive detailed instructions from writings who's authors never intended their words to be used in such a way.

2 Tim 3: 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

This was Paul's warning about professors of religion in our time. They try and try but they cannot ever get to the truth. It's easy to see why, they limit themselves on the things of God they will except. It's like trying to figure out a three act play when you only are willing to read the first act.

SP, even Joseph Smith taught these concepts occasionally if you'd but pay attention to them:

"And the whole world lieth in sin, and groaneth under darkness and under the bondage of sin...that the whole world groaneth under sin and darkness even now." (D&C 84:49, 53)

In D&C 29:41, Smith admitted that the Garden of Eden sins led to spiritual death.

So what can come spiritually alive from that which is spiritually dead?
