Historians don’t have trouble with these kinds of things, but persons with an ideological axe to grind certainly do have trouble with simple historicity. The same level of historicity goes for what Christ said before the sanhedrin and how they reacted. They properly condemned Him for blasphemy if He was not God Himself.
